Created in Clip Studio Paint Pro on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7+. Here is the timelapse video:

And here is the step-by-step drawing process.

Step One: Rough draft. I use a 40 px pastel pencil to block out the rough shape

Step Two: Line art layer using my "ribbon" brush

Step Three: Hide the rough layer and throw some paint color on the canvas using an India Ink brush

Step Four: Setting the line art layer as the reference layer use the Clip Studio Colorize feature to get this

Step Five: Move paint around using oil paint and gouache brushes

Step Six: Colors looked a little to pastel for me, so I just duplicated the color layer (when using Colorize, the layer type defaults to a multiply layer)

Step Seven: Create a new glow layer to add some flames and some dramatic reflected light

Step Eight: Didn't quite like the heavy lines for the line art, so I actually blurred them with a Gaussian blur and reduced the opacity of the layer to 35%. Scroll back and forth and see if you can tell the difference

Step Nine: Sign the bottom right

Step Ten: Honor and glory!

Enjoy your week everyone!
