This is my entry for the weekly Splinterlands contest found HERE
Here is the original card art:
Created in Clip Studio Paint Pro on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7+. Here is the timelapse video:

And here is the step-by-step drawing process.
Step One: Rough draft. I use a 40 px pastel pencil to block out the rough shape then went back over it with a pencil
Step Two: Ink layer in black ink with the G-Pen tool
Step Three: duplicate the line art. Rasterize and gaussian blur one of them to make the lines less distinct. Then reduce both of them to 40% opacity
Step Four: Flat color layer
Step Five: Shading!
Step Six: Added an overlay layer to airbrush in some reflected light. Then an add glow layer for some really bright effects. Many of which you can't see yet because I haven't added the background layer
Step Seven: Background layer
Step Eight: Sign it!
Step Nine: Death to my enemies!
Whoops! Went too far there. Thanks for scrolling all the way to the end.
I'm not sure if it's right to find a centaur sexy :)
That's a whole 'nother genre of comics...
