Con este post participo en el "Concurso la Historia de la Semana con la carta Riley. concurso de la comunidad de @hivenftgamela. Esta es mi primera entrada, gracias a la invitación recibida de @Chacald.dcymt
Un destino indefinido
Él le había prometido que todo estaría bien, ella le sonrió con timidez le dio un beso en el cachete y se despidió. Riley quería abrazarla y decirle que las cosas iban a cambiar. Lo miró, dejando entrever que no estaba de acuerdo, tal vez su madre tenía razón, él no tenía un trabajo, lo que hacía, no era un trabajo normal como el que cualquier persona tiene para sobrevivir.
—Señora yo hago negocios, estoy ahorrando para montar una pequeña empresa, por eso hago lo que consigo, sin ver qué cosa sale, no hago preguntas, usted sabe...
—No sé nada, yo solo veo a las personas que usted frecuenta y no son unos santos, ¡deje en paz a mi hija!
No sé dio por vencido y ese día decidió seguirla, iba dispuesto a convencerla para hacer las paces. El buscaría trabajo, le demostraría a la mamá de Lissi, que era un hombre con las botas bien puestas.
—Vamos Lissi, haremos una familia, con dos chamos, no te preocupes, yo me busco una chamba en un súper, mañana voy y hablo con el Portu, él es un tipo bien, tu sabes.
Lissi lo vio venir, estaba de espaldas retocándose un poco y con el espejito de mano lo vio. ¿Ahora qué? Pensó. ¡Ay Riley! tu no aprendes, olvídate, mi mamá no te quiere y yo, no estoy muy interesada, mejor le digo que ya le di el sí a Romer, él es de las ligas mayores, a mí mamá lo que le importa es el billete.
Riley de acercó, la agarró por la cintura y la beso.
—¿Qué haces?

Eso no puede ser Lissi, —pensó. —no me quedaré de brazos cruzados. Ahí corrió tras ella, con la rabia encendida, cuando la tuvo cerca la empujó. Lissi gritó y ella se fue de bruces sobre el asfalto.
—¡No Lissi! No quería hacer eso, ¡Ayúdenme, hay que llevarla al hospital, ayúdenme!
Alguien la agarró y la metió en una camioneta. Él se quedó mirando la mancha roja sobre la calle. —¡Qué hice, Lissi!
Corrió, tenía que ir al hospital, no podía dejarla sola. Cuando llegó había un revuelo en el centro de emergencias, allí estaba la mamá de Lissi, lloraba, y otras personas también lloraban. ¿Ahora a quién le pregunto? Ahí está Romer, ¿qué hará aquí? será mejor que pregunte.

Si Lissi vive, estoy muerto y si Lissi muere también estoy muerto, aquí no queda otra, o es él o soy yo, pero la pelea es peleando.

He did not give up and that day he decided to follow her, he was ready to convince her to make peace. He would look for a job; he would show Lissi's mother that he was a man with his boots on.
—Come on Lissi, we'll make a family, with two kids, don't worry, I'll get a job in a supermarket, tomorrow I'll go and talk to the Portu, he's a good guy, you know.
Lissi saw him coming, she was standing with her back turned, touching herself up a bit and with the little mirror in her hand she saw him. Now what? she thought. she thought.
Oh Riley! You don't learn, forget about it, my mom doesn't love you and I'm not very interested, I'd better tell her that I already said yes to Romer, he's a major league guy, what matters to my mom is the money.
Riley approached her, grabbed her by the waist and kissed her.
—What are you doing?
—I'm willing to change for you, I'll stop working in that job, tell me Lissi, that you're willing to continue with me, do it, I'll go to the altar with you.
Lissi just smiled, put her hand on his chest and pushed him away.
—Riley, I don't want to get your hopes up, forget it, nothing is going to happen between you and me.
She lifted the mirror to finish touching herself up. Riley was paralyzed, he didn't know what to do, he saw her leave without turning to look at him, he felt a heat in his body, something stirred in him and he clenched his fists, for moments he lost track of time and space. He ran, he had to go to the hospital, he couldn't leave her alone. When he arrived there was a commotion in the emergency center, Lissi's mother was there, she was crying, and other people were crying too. Now who should I ask? There's Romer, what's he doing here, I'd better ask.
—What's up Romer! What brings you here?
—Lissi got hurt, I know she was your girlfriend, but that's in the past, right? She's my girlfriend now. If she gets out of this I'll live with her. I'm already finding out what happened... and you know what? that guy who hurt her, he's already history. I already sent Carlo and Chepo, do you know anything? Tell me if... Lissi cheated on me, that's why she didn't want to be my girlfriend, now it doesn't matter, I know I don't have to look for another job. If Lissi lives, I'm dead and if Lissi dies I'm dead too, there's no other choice here, it's either him or me, but the fight is fighting.

Es una lástima que lissi no se fijara en Riley, pero, más vale que no porque si por no estar de acuerdo fue capaz de hacer lo que hizo, no podría imaginarme que le haría más adelante en otros escenarios.

Pero el tal Romer también era un criminal, ella lo que hizo fue elegir el de más plata pero al final la misma profesión criminal, y la mama alcahueta también, hay no...
Me ha gustado la historia, se ve mucho en los barrios de mi país situaciones así, jóvenes que se dejan llevar por la emociones y esto por falta de educación emocional en etapas tempranas del desarrollo.
Lamentable todo, pero creo que Riley no le queda de otra que morir peleando asumiendo la metida de pata.
Así es como lo describes, cuando lo escribí solo me interesaba mostrar una historia de lo que uno percibe en los barrios, dinero fácil, ambición, drogas, involucrando a personajes sin vínculos con una moral positiva.
