This time I will answer the first question of the contest: Based on your own job hunting and work experiences, which do you prefer, working from home as a freelancer, or working outside the home where you get stable monthly pay? Why?
I started working very young. At the age of 17 I was working in a financial institution, obviously, with the permission of my parents, since I was a minor, although I was already married with a daughter, but on my identification, I appeared as single. This experience of being an employee lasted only 6 years, because at 23 I left all that behind and dedicated myself to working for myself. I already earned additional income, making pieces with clay, houses, mangers, dolls, which I sold in souvenir stores, but it was something complementary.
At 23 years old, with a move to a city, with a divorce in tow, I chose to earn my living on my own, continuing the artisan activity, but I bought pieces from other artisans and resold them, in addition to marketing my own. This change was nice, it gave me great satisfaction, because in addition to the independence I had in terms of schedules, formalities and hierarchies, I traveled with my father in search of good handcrafted pieces in various parts of my country, and they were very nice trips, the which I will never forget.
During the time I worked for others, although it was full of learning, it did not give me happiness. I consider it a martyrdom to work in an office 8, 10, 12 hours a day, for a salary that often does not correspond to the effort and time invested, in addition to having to see unpleasant situations, as well as the relationship of economic dependency that is generated. I have never liked dependence, neither economic, nor technological, nor territorial, I like to fend for myself and be free.
After deciding to work for myself, I once worked for a period of two months, under contract, for a company that processed data, and incredibly it was a super pleasant experience, because the work environment was very pleasant and the boss was splendid. with all employees. It is something that I will not forget and I will always be grateful, because it was also a lot of learning.
Today, I have been working for myself for more than 30 years, and proof of this is the four years I have been in Hive and the existence of my gastronomic communities. I really enjoy doing the work I do, both in Hive and outside of Hive, because in addition to working on the blockchain, I carry out other commercial activities in real life, which allows me to generate more income, which is essential when living in a economy as chaotic and unstructured as the one my country has experienced for decades, making it necessary to have several sources of income to survive.
Why do I like to work on my own, independently? There are many reasons, including the following:
I am free
I don't have to stick to schedules.
I don't have to leave my house to go somewhere else to work.
I don't have to endure exhausting and unpleasant work relationships.
I am at home, with my family, so I can share with them and serve them as well.
I experience well-being and joy, knowing that I myself am responsible for generating my livelihood.
I set my own challenges and limits at work.
I test myself, my creative ability, my perseverance and discipline.
I am happy.
I think these are all super valid reasons to work for yourself, don't you think?

Saludos a todos en esta hermosa Comunidad de Ladies of Hive. Atendiendo la convocatoria de este concurso número 199, hoy vuelvo a participar. Aquí les comparto la invitación de esta semana. Gracias @jane1289 por estas estupendas preguntas!
En esta ocasión responderé la primera pregunta del concurso: Según su propia búsqueda de empleo y experiencias laborales, ¿qué prefiere, trabajar desde casa como autónomo o trabajar fuera de casa donde obtiene un salario mensual estable? ¿Por qué?
Comencé a trabajar muy joven. Ya a los 17 años laboraba en una entidad financiera, obviamente, con el permiso de mis padres, pues era menor de edad, aunque ya yo estaba casada y con una hija, pero en mi identificación, aparecía como soltera. Esta experiencia de ser empleada duró solo 6 años, pues a los 23 dejé atrás todo eso, y me dediqué a trabajar por mi cuenta. Yo ya obtenía ingresos adicionales, haciendo piezas con arcilla, casas, pesebres, muñecas, las cuales vendía en tiendas de souvenirs, pero era algo complementario.
A los 23 años, con una mudanza de ciudad, con un divorcio a cuestas, opté por ganarme mi sustento por mí misma, continuando la actividad artesanal, pero compraba piezas a otros artesanos y las revendía, además de comercializar las mías propias. Este cambio fue bonito, me dio gran satisfacción, porque además de la independencia que tenía en cuanto a horarios, formalidades y jerarquías, viajaba con mi padre en búsqueda de buenas piezas artesanales por varias partes de mi país, y eran viajes muy lindos, los cuales nunca olvidaré.
En el tiempo que trabajé para otros, si bien fue pleno de aprendizajes, no me dio felicidad. Considero que es un martirio meterse en una oficina 8, 10, 12 horas al día, por un salario que muchas veces no corresponde con el esfuerzo y tiempo invertidos, además de tener que ver situaciones desagradables, al igual que la relación de dependencia económica que se genera. Nunca me ha gustado la dependencia, ni económica, ni tecnológica, ni territorial, me gusta valerme por mí misma y ser libre.
Luego de decidirme a trabajar por mi cuenta, una sola vez laboré por un período de dos meses, bajo contrato, para una empresa que procesaba datos, e increíblemente fue una experiencia súper grata, porque el ambiente laboral era muy agradable y el jefe era espléndido con todos los empleados. Es algo que no olvidaré y siempre agradeceré, porque también fue de mucho aprendizaje.
Ya hoy día, tengo más de 30 años laborando por mí misma, y prueba de ello son los cuatro años que tengo en Hive y la existencia mis comunidades gastronómicas. Disfruto muchísimo de hacer el trabajo que hago, tanto en Hive como fuera de Hive, porque además de estar trabajando en la blockchain, realizo otras actividades comerciales en la vida real, lo cual me permite generar más ingresos, siendo esto indispensable al vivir en una economía tan caótica y desestructurada como la que experimenta mi país desde hace décadas, siendo necesario tener varias fuentes de ingresos para poder subsistir.
¿Por qué me gusta trabajar por mi cuenta, de forma independiente? Son muchas las razones, entre ellas, las siguientes:
Soy libre
No tengo que ajustarme a horarios.
No tengo que salir de mi casa para ir a otro sitio a trabajar.
No tengo que soportar relaciones laborales desgastantes y desagradables.
Estoy en mi casa, con mi familia, por lo que puedo compartir con ellos y atenderlos también.
Experimento bienestar y alegría, al saber que yo misma soy responsable de generar mi sustento.
Yo misma me planteo mis propios retos y límites a nivel laboral.
Me pruebo a mí misma, a mi capacidad creativa, mi constancia y disciplina.
Soy feliz.
Creo que todas estas son razones súper válidas para trabajar por propia cuenta, ¿no creen?
Aquí termino mi post de hoy, intentando dar respuesta a una pregunta, que nos puede hacer valorar más a Hive, al saber que es muy agradable trabajar por cuenta propia y de forma independiente. This is always the case for many people out there, so they tend to overwork themselves,,, and others choose to stay at home. I would do the same if it's my case. I experienced working more than 12 hours at a rate that is not enough to make ends meet if I consider my family too. Maybe enough for myself, but I have other people to feed..
I bet you chose the right path and are in a good situation now. Income may not be stable, but at least, there is a lot of time to relax and enjoy with loved ones..

Thank you very much for your comment. Certainly, working independently gives a feeling of freedom that is difficult to achieve when you are an employee, and although my current economic situation, (due to the situation of my country), is not stable, I am grateful for the income I produce inside and outside by Hive.
