Blue Dream smoke report and weigh in | Guess the weight

It has been around a week since I harvested my four plants, the buds have dried and are now curing in jars. The buds are quite airy and light, but this is normal for sativas. They tend not to have as tightly packed buds as indicas do. These buds look a little different from my previous grow, not as crystal filled and not really purple. But still a unique strain to grow and I think I will be happy with it.

Guess the total weight of harvest in grams and win 10 Hive! After 7 days I will announce the weight and the closest guess gets the 10 Hive after payout.

I have to say I am quite impressed with the bowl trimmer machine I used to trim these buds. I found that following the directions of others that used it and trimming it wet seems to give good results.

The orange hairs have really popped out now, and this is my best cola. It weighs a few grams just by itself.

Trying out my dried buds it has a Blueberry like flavor. That would make sense as Blue Dream is a cross of DJ shorts Blueberry. Using my Volcano I heat up the ground up cannabis buds and heat it just hot enough to vaporize the THC, but not enough to combust the whole plant as done with smoke. I really prefer this method of consumption.

Since the buds have not had much time to cure it gets a bit harsh after a few vape bags. But the high was there and quite potent. Hopefully I got to the top end of the THC levels with my cannabis day spa.. lol

When it came to gathering all the buds for jars I placed them in my trimming bin to save any kief that may fall off. And I placed them by the hand full in the jars.

When I first trimmed the leaves have not curled, but now they are dry and looking great.

Feels good to have a milk crate full of cannabis. Should last me till my next harvest, I am already under way starting new seeds. This time Sour Diesel.. I was mistaken thinking I had Train Wreck.

The way I measured the weight was to tare the jars, and then notate the amount for each. So the weight of the jars is not included in the final harvest weight.

Really excited to see how they smoke/vape once cured.

This should last me awhile.

9 jars mostly full of cannabis, loving it.

Left a little room at the top so I can gently shake the jar each day when burping it. This helps to release gasses building up and keep the humidity low in the jars.

Now I open the jars a few times a day for the next week, then once a day for another week and then less and so on.

Every time I open these jars the smell just comes out so strong.

Clue: They are not as dense as indica buds, so they quite fluffy.

Consuming so much won't have any impact on health ? 650 gm ?

I think everything in moderation is key. But in general vaporizing dry herbs is much more healthy than smoking them.

By keeping the temperature below the combustion point you can control what is being released. The vaporization temperature under 385F will guarantee you only get the THC and not all of the combustion byproducts.

Yes, a few bags will get you really high. But many people are not willing to wait 5 minutes for the vape to heat up, and then to take hits from 2-3 bags to feel the same effects as a pipe or bong. Its easier just to smoke a pipe for most.

But I prefer using the vaporizer, and can wait for it to warm up and such.

OK cool, yeah I must say I am a fan of the trimmer now. Since it has dried and curled up the buds look great.

And all the trim made some really strong brownies.

I see it a good quantiy. Never seen them in real, but did had a go at it once it was strong one (always good to try illegal things secretly😉)
A wild guess - 900 grams approx, as they are dried and seems each containers have approx 100 grams.

Yeah I think they turned out to be some great buds. Hah no worries, I feel ya. I did not talk much about cannabis when I lived where it was illegal. Luckily now my local laws let me feel better about talking about it publicly. In Virginia they legalized cannabis :-)

I can understand, laws are different for different places...here it is illegal but I see many old people in my village didn't live without them...not sure how they manage them....they know how to make hole in system..🙂

Ah well I try to keep a good work/life balance. Cannot let myself just sit around vaping all day. As long as I get my work done I think im doing well. But for many that is not the case.. and its a negative for them. I feel like consuming cannabis is a positive in my life along with everything else I do.

Looks like fire bro! My buddy has a bowl trimmer and when I used it, it would cut small buds off and I would have to dig through the bottom to retrieve them. The buds were dry then but did you have the same thing happen when trimming it wet?
My guess is 180 grams!

Oh cool, yeah this bowl trimmer is bad ass. I read the reviews and users of it suggested cutting wet.. if you cut dry you have to swap out the blade for something that just knocks off the leaves instead of cutting them. Doing that causes buds to break off.. so its not suggested you trim dry.

Yeah I am sure there were some bud chunks in the bowl trimmer but I made edibles with them so nothing was wasted :-)

I think each jar has about 30g. So total should be about 270g.

Thank you, I am doing the best I can for these plants.. giving them everything they need like the proper lighting, temps, humidity, food and water.. they get it all.. haha

Those are not seedlings in the jars, those are smokable buds from the cannabis plant.

I have seeds though.. many of them :-)

I'm gonna guess this is about 80-90 grams. I think everyone is going overboard since you mentioned the nugs are light and airy.
