Torch Vizier fanart for Splinterlands social media challenge!

Hello guys,

I'm here to share a new artwork with you guys. I wanted to finish this first before joining the Splinterlands Art contest this week because of the change in theme. Yes that's right it's different this time if you guys didn't know. Some people didn't know this because I saw some fanarts under there so yeah. Anyway for this week I decided to paint Torch Vizier. I feel like doing a glow art this week so I chose her hehe.

The Process

• As usual I startes drawing by making a rough sketch using this pose reference I found on Pinterest. Once I made the rough sketch of her body I started adding the characters clothes and accessories in there.

• After finishing the rough sketch of the character I made clean lineart using Pen fade brush.

• Started filling in the base colours and made her hair in a flamey shape.

• Started adding the dark hues on the skin layer in respect with the source of light coming from the sword.

• Rendered the skin and painted one more darker shades to get that 3D feel. Also added some light hights as well. At this stage I began to add the darker hues on the clothes and other accessories.

• I started painting the flamey hair by drawing flame shapes on and around the hair. I used 3 layers for this.

• Painted highlights on her armour and other accessories. On the skin layer I used airbrush to make the light bleed into the darker areas.

• At this stage I began to draw flames on the sword.

• Painted nails on her fingers, added yellow highlights on her body according to the source of light. Painted yellow pupils on her and made it glow. Adjusted the colours on her armour a bit more using tone curve. Added yellow hights on her skin, textures on her armour and design on her hand armour as well. After this I added the scars on her skin and it was done ;)
