Would you?

It's hard to shoot in motion. I surprised you, didn't I? Rather I should have said, it is difficult to own, drive and maintain such an old car.

The funny thing is that I never once asked myself what this car was when I drove past it. Because I automatically knew it was a Cadillac, I just didn't know which model, I could also guess roughly what decade it was made. Why did it stop like that in the middle of an intersection, where were the owners, etc., are minor questions. The car is old and it looks like the battery has failed.

But let's get back to it - it's hard to shoot in motion. No, I'm not making excuses for the photos lacking photographic qualities. I recently happened to look at the entries for a National Geographic photography contest - God, some people really don't have self-criticism, together with the lack of photography skills.
Still, I'll be entering for a contest, too. A travel contest that has the theme "Pink".
Well, I haven't photographed anything pinker and more relevant to this theme than this pink Cadillac wrecked at a fork in the road.

And as much as the pictures have lost their aesthetic qualities, they correspond to the subject and the subject overflows from them. 😃

Hmm, I wonder, being a woman, if I would drive a similar car and a similar colored car. (And would you?) I think not. It reminds me in a way of that sick situation of grown girls who still inhabit their nursery with pink wallpaper and full of dolls and teddy bears. It doesn't seem right to me.
Yes, I know, now you can tell me something about Elvis Presley, but still.

So, that's just my entry to the @travelcontest's contest with the theme "Pink".
