Hello dear fellow community members, I want to share my participation in the community contest, for me, women empowerment is the promotion of gender equality, where we all have the right and ability to make decisions about our lives, it means feeling safe and free to express ourselves and do what we want, personally, women empowerment has taught me to recognize my own value and to have the confidence to challenge traditional gender norms.
My personal experiences have sensitized me to the gender injustices in our society, as a journalist, I see with concern how macho attitudes persist that limit the potential of women, (marginalizing us) to traditional roles, I am especially concerned about sexist comments and gender stereotypes that are still prevalent in our society, for example, the idea that women should not drive because it is an activity "for men", or "better a male photographer, they know better", is deeply unfair and limiting, these comments and beliefs reinforce gender inequalities and hinder progress towards a more egalitarian society.

From my position in cultural advocacy, I advocate for a thorough revision of these attitudes and beliefs rooted in gender stereotypes, I strongly believe in the importance of challenging and changing these outdated social norms to move towards a more inclusive and equitable society, female empowerment is a process that not all women are willing to go through, but for me, being authentic is fundamental, it allows me to be the owner of my destiny and feel safe in my skin, knowing that I have the power to create the future I wish for myself and for future generations.
