Mi vecina Gleyci. | My neighbor Gleyci.
El concurso de @ladiesofhive, su segunda pregunta me hizo pensar en Gleyci mi vecina.
Ella es todo lo opuesto a mi, tenemos algunos años de diferencia en edad y hasta nuestro idioma materno es diferente. Pero me gusta mucho tenerla cerca y es que su pasado no fue fácil, tuvo que madurar a una edad muy joven y ahora que ha formado su familia debe hacer más cosas de las que una esposa normalmente haría debido a la salud de su esposo.
Algo de lo que solemos bromear es que la energia de ella parece no acabar siendo ama de casa, mamá, esposa, estudiante, trabajando afuera... Yo sólo tengo un gato y si no duermo a las 9pm mi cerebro no funciona de manera normal al día siguiente 😆.
The contest by @ladiesofhive, its second question made me think of Gleyci, my neighbor.
She is everything opposite to me; we have a few years of age difference and even our native language is different. But I really enjoy having her around, and it's because her past wasn't easy. She had to mature at a very young age, and now that she has started her family, she has to do more things than a normal wife would typically do because of her husband's health.
One thing we often joke about is that her energy seems endless, being a housewife, mother, wife, student, working outside... I only have a cat, and if I don't sleep by 9pm, my brain doesn't function normally the next day 😆.

A ella le gusta mucho hacer actividad física. A veces me siento su conejillo de indias cuando quiere que yo practique un nuevo ejercicio físico que ella ha aprendido. Recientemente creamos el hábito de hacer caminatas algunas mañanas, sé que quiere que yo pueda mejorar mi salud.
She really enjoys physical activity, and sometimes I feel like her guinea pig when she wants me to try out a new exercise she's learned. Recently, we've developed the habit of going for walks some mornings. I know she wants me to improve my health.
Ella animada y yo casi desistiendo.| She's animated, while I'm almost giving up.
Gleyci me ha enseñado sin saber que es mejor no generar espectativas, en el buen sentido, pues no todo es como uno quisiera. Que es mejor afrontar las diferentes situaciones de la vida siendo resiliente y siempre pidiendo guia a nuestro Dios. Que no debemos olvidar nuestros orígenes y estar agradecida con lo que tengo ahora. Ah, y algo que ella diría es que debo hacer más ejercicios jajaja...
Gleyci has taught me, without even knowing it, that it's better not to create expectations, in a positive sense, because not everything turns out as one would hope. It's better to face life's different situations with resilience and always seek guidance from our God. We shouldn't forget our origins and be grateful for what I have now. Oh, and something she would say is that I should do more exercises, haha...
