Sapien Loop Quiz 2 Answers
Hi Everyone,
It’s time to announce the winner of the second Sapien Loop Quiz for this year. First, I would like to thank all the participants. We had another good turnout for this contest. The participants did pretty well with their answers. One participant answered all the questions correctly, and a few others came very close. It looks like I will need to include content from Part 2 in my next quiz.
How to Play!
For those who did not enter, here is a quick recap of how to play. The quiz contains seven multiple-choice questions. Each question had five possible answers. The participant is required to select the correct answer from the five options. The participant who answers the most questions correctly wins the contest. If there is a tie, the participant who entered first wins. There is also a requirement for the winner to answer at least four questions correctly. This is my way of ensuring that the participants read the book.
The prize for each contest is 30 Hive Power. The entries of the first twelve participants are upvoted.

Answers to the quiz are as follows:
Question 1: B
Question 2: C
Question 3: D
Question 4: C
Question 5: B
Question 6: A
Question 7: E
Explanations
Question 1: Chapter 1 describes the wastelands in the following words: ‘Sapey also had large uninhabitable areas. They were referred to as the ‘wastelands’. These areas did not support life as the ground was infertile, the water was toxic, and the low-lying air was contaminated by toxic particles off the surface.’
Question 2: Chapter 7 explains that Orcille gave the Inquisitives access to an underground section of the Industrial Zone Train Station. He was able to access it because of his job at the Carvaress Company.
Question 3: In Chapter 12 David and Hamlet are introduced. We can conclude from their long history that Hamlet’s best friend is David.
Question 4: This is the trickiest question of the quiz. It requires an in-depth understanding of the characters in the story. In Chapter 13, there is tension between Orcille and Victor. It appears Orcille is frustrated with Victor. However, we learn later that Orcille was trying to frame Victor. He needed an excuse to get Victor alone so that no one else would witness Victor’s supposed confession. He faked the tension to do this. This is confirmed in Chapter 29 in Orcille’s conversation with Pardi.
Question 5: In Chapter 15, Vulay’s and Victor’s secret relationship was revealed. Vulay trusted Victor. Therefore, she distrusted anyone who made accusations against him.
Question 6: In Chapter 17, the Head Enfocer placed photographs of the arrested Inquisitives in front of the girls. The girls used them to identify Denise and Morgan. They could not identify Victor as his photograph was not included, as he was not officially arrested.
Question 7: At the end of Chapter 23, Vulay has arrived home. She is still in shock over Victor’s death. The book explains that she found the strength to go back to work so as to help his closest friends.
Winners
Overall, this contest had nine participants. @micheal87 answered all seven questions correctly; he was the only one to do so. Therefore, he wins the contest and 30 Hive Power. I would also like to thank @tengolotodo.leo, @bereal47, @emeka4 for answering 6 out of 7 questions correctly. Question 4 was the one that all three of them got wrong.
Next month, I will be holding another contest. The same rules apply.
My New Book, Sapien Loop
I have published an ebook on Amazon; it is titled ‘Sapien Loop: End of an Era’. The book is fiction. I do not normally write fiction. However, I felt it was appropriate considering what is happening in the world today. Freedom is the most important thing we have, but we are gradually losing it. I have covered this in many of my posts.
In the story, most citizens do not understand the concept of freedom because they have never really experienced it. In essence, the story is about an alien world that might represent our not-so-distant future. There are many other elements to the story that are an abstract and exaggerated version of our reality. I believe this book to be an important read, and I believe it has the potential to change the way you think.
Brief Summary of Sapien Lopp
This story is based on the fictional planet Sapia and its sole country, Sapey. Sapey is portrayed as a form of utopia for all its citizens. No poverty. No war. Almost no crime. Opportunities for all.
This was enough for most citizens, but not all. In one of the small regions, some of the citizens had become discontent. They felt something important was missing in their lives. Their discontent did not go unnoticed. Some of the Sapey elite wanted to weaponise this discontent to gain more power. This created more chaos than they anticipated. This led to further widespread social unrest.
On top of the chaos, ambition and greed provoked another enemy. This enemy was on a mission to settle both new and old scores.
If you want to buy a copy of the book, below are links to the relevant Amazon websites for each country it is available in. The book is priced at approximately US$5.08.
