Get behind the screen of the social media profile before you conclude...

It's often said that people act the way they think and Social media is a platform where groups of persons from different backgrounds and family origins come together for a particular purpose (most times).

Now, asking if it's okay to judge someone by his or her activities on social media platforms is actually a double sided question because it can go either way in the sense that You can't exhibit what you're not but You can also chose to catch fun.

Walk with me with the following points of mine...

Not All That Meets The Eye

Social media profiles and activities are just reflections of a part of someone and not entirely who the person is.
Some might be portraying the "jonsy" part of their life and take everything for granted on social medias whereas deep down when it comes to meeting them personally, you notice that they are really serious-minded persons focused on achieving their life goals.

In that same way, someone might just jokingly decide to take an odd picture just to know what people will say with no other thing in mind, that doesn't mean it's a whole reflection of him or her, but, when you end up judging him with that singular picture, you misjudge him.

What I'm trying to say is that human beings are too complex for a single social media act to give you a full detail of who exactly that person is.

Could Be Deceptive

The social media recently has become an abode of fake life where people portray a life they're not.
You see people sharing just the good aspects of their life despite the fact that they are dying inside and on seeing just the good part they display, you feel you're the only one suffering and might be thinking of something "stupid" to do to ease your pain.

A Room For Change

Most times while growing up, people might just feel to be posting anything they want doing all sorts of things in their social media handle but then overtime, they get to understand that they were wrong and most times will change their personality in person even without deleting their previous posts, hence, judging that person with the information you saw prior to his or her change in person could be misleading.

At this point, I personally think it's far from reality judging someone just with the social media activities alone, you should get behind the screen of the profile account and engage in a one one one discussion with the person before making a conclusion about someone but even at that, A balance in looking for fame even as you uphold your core values should be your goal because there obviously might be a point of no return.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day

Fame comes with a price, so I don’t really blame some people.

I definitely agree. Social media often shows us only aspects of their life, and this aspect(s) could be modified in a number of ways to match a particular trend or narrative. It's much better to see the person and make first hand impressions before drawing a conclusion about them.

That's very true friend... That one-on-one interaction should never be underestimated because human beings are too complex

I actually laughed at the end because sometimes people’s one on one personalities are even worse than the ones on social media
Sometimes I wish I didn’t even know people in real life and just on social media because their real life personality is just appalling

I personally agree with you. People should not be judge by the social media page

Yeah, I totally agree with you people shouldn’t be judge based on what they only see online cause a lot of people do worse than that behind.
