My Donation for MONSTER RAFFLE 1

Hello, SPIers. Many moons ago I was an active user and mod of the #silvergoldstackers community formally known as SteemSilverGold (SSG)back on STEEM. They had an amazing series of MONSTER RAFFLES that they ran for 4 consecutive years on STEEM. Each raffle outgrew the last in terms of both prizes on offer and tickets sold. The raffle prizes were funded by SSG members and the funds collected from selling raffle tickets were put into the community curation bot. It's a nice setup and because community members are donating prizes and all ticket sales are powered up, locked up as HP, it's a win for HIVE as well.

The #silvergoldstackers community has come back with a new MONSTER RAFFLE for HIVE after a 4-year absence. I am writing this from the @spinvest and not my personal account because I would like SPI to know about this MONSTER RAFFLE and maybe even buy a few tickets. In past draws, there were always over 30 prizes on offer so each ticket got over 30 chances to be that lucky ticket. The more you buy, the greater your odds are and all prizes are shipped worldwide for free.

In the past, the raffle draws were live on Discord and this time is not different. The way they worked was if there were 30 prizes, 30 numbers were pulled. Each number was pulled 3-4 minutes apart and in that time, the winner had around 2 minutes to pick any remaining prize they wanted from the donation pool. This meant winning early was best because you could pick the most expensive prizes. If a winner was not online, they were rewarded the next-in-line prize to give away. The whole raffle took 90-120 minutes from start to finish but they were always good fun and felt shorter.

Because I am a blast from the past, I decided it would be fitting to make my donation silver a blast from the past as well. I could not decide on silver bar are silver coin so came up with why not both?

If your from back in the STEEM days, you might remember seeing one of these back in 2018. There were 3 STEEM rounds minted between 2017 and 2019 with this one being my favourite design. I call this the Welshie round because its @welshstacker's design that was voted on by the community that year. (SPILLER) Theres a hidden Welsh dragon easter egg within the branches.

So it's 1oz of .999 silver and has never been out of the capsule. Its a nice piece with it being sold out for over 5 years, it gives new members a chance to grab a piece of history. Top pic is back, bottom pic is front.

Next up, we have a hand-poured silver bar from none other than @monsterjamgold I have around 10 bars from him I collected over a 12-18 month period and found a nice one for this raffle. It has the old community name and a stamped mermaid to represent Precious (the curation bot).

Its 80g in weight and poured from .925 silver. Im not sure what it was made from, Monsterjam is a wheeler-dealer so most likely this bar used to be some form of old coinage, a chain, bracket, ring are maybe even cutlery.

I will post again from this account when tickets go for sale. Please share this and get as many eyes on it as possible. It would be nice to see a few HIVE higher-ups support something like this instead of circle-jerking themselves into disconnected zombies.

If the draw falls on the weekend which it normally does, I'll be there with bells on. In the past, as a community mod, I played an active role in each draw so it'll be nice to just take part and be there as a visitor so see old friends and of course, try to win a few prizes.
