Testing Out Hoof Races for 4 Weeks - Can you back a winner?
Hello and welcome to this weeks Friday Race of the Week!
For the next 4 weeks, we're going to test something out to see if it has any legs (pun intended). For the longest time I have thought that HIVE could have some form of a weekly punt, should that be a lottery or something else. I've tried creating lotteries and failed as have others but we've never had a weekly horse race!
Oh yes, For the next 4 Fridays on @spinvest, we'll be testing at a weekly horse race. If they are successful and there is interest, we'll move these over to a new account and host them from there.
Why?
Well, it could be a bit of fun for everyone. Planning to do 1 race per week is not OTT and it's something to look forward to at the end of the week, a reason to log in on Friday evening to watch your horse run and see if you've won any HIVE. There will be limits to the amount people can bet to make sure nobody is blowing all their HIVE on horse racing.
I'd also like to run it for 4 weeks to see what its like to host something like this and see what workload is needed per race.

Decimal odds are shown as one number, which is the amount a winning bet would collect on a 1 HIVE bet. If the odds are listed as 6, a winning bet would receive 5 HIVE profit plus the original 1 HIVE bet. As a fraction, this would be shown as 5/1.
