Ecency Challenge - The point of using Ecency "Points"

Being mean and selfish is not good. Always look out to help others and appreciate their every little effort. I belive Ecency points is just made for that. This added features on the @ecency app is giving all new dimension to the platform. #Givingback is what makes this platform beautiful.

What are Ecency Points?

Ecency point are the sub layer token that the app rewards to the userbase. Whenever you make use of the app like posting content, upvoting, referral, etc the user will be awarded with certain points. There are certain limits as well to prevent spoiling the ecosystem.. like everytime an user puts up single word comment using ecency it generates reward point. Which is not going to be healthier. To make it more relevant and to prevent exploitation of the app, the team had put some restriction with daily rewards.

How points helps an user?

An user can earn any number of points by using the app on daily basis or by delegating. The points can be used to promote your post, to boost your post. But again to put a check, when you do any of these option it goes to the #curator team who check the quality aspect and then approve to get the user rewards with some juicy upvotes. In case the post is not worth your points will get refunded to your account. It is like bid-bot usage but only thing you will get #hive upvotes on spending #ecencypoints after a check. The token is not yet tradeable on @hive-engine.com

Effective Points Usage.

I personally belive is to spread a harmonious words.in the community and built a strong eco system. To make that possible rather than investing the point on own post, make it more fruitful by spending in promoting and boosting others post. Many a times we are running short of the voting power and in cade you really wanted to support sny content. An user can spend out the point to support.

If not with big amount but an user can make use of atleast 150 ecency points which approx worth $1 upvote. If such thing is put into practice for a new user it helps in maintaining user retention and building a good eco-system.

Ecency proposal - Waves

Ever sinces waves is launched on @ecency it makes the user quite busy with short content. Many user like to share every little pieces of life but unable to do due to various reason. #waves is just meant for that. Keeping user active and building a strong community. It already cresting lot of ripples.
