(ENG/ESP) Ladies of Hive Community Contest #214: My dream car and the songs I know by heart / Mi auto soñado y las canciones que me sé de memoria
ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello to all the ladies of this community! Once again, I'm joining this week's contest, answering both questions 😊
🚗 What’s your dream car? And why? 🚗
Well, first of all I'll tell you that I don't know anything about cars, much less their models. In fact, when I worked in a house where the owners had several types of cars, I identified them by color or by the owner of the car, because if they referred to the cars by their models, my head went completely blank 😆
Still, a few years ago I had a huge desire to have my own vehicle, with the illusion of not having to take public transportation. But I wasn't thinking about a specific model, but rather about its color and for those who don't know, my weakness is the color green 💚 So, I wanted to have a small car of that color.
During that time, every time I saw a car with that feature, I would exclaim "my car." Even now, every time I see a green vehicle, I can't help but stare at it until it disappears from my range of vision.
I don't know how to drive haha but I would still like to have my own car, I'm very nervous, so being able to drive would help me have self-confidence. I still think that I don't care that much about the model, as long as it's new (because we know that a used car usually lives in the workshop 😆) and that it's that beautiful color that I love so much 💚
For me, it would be wonderful to get out of my green car, wearing green clothes and of course I would make sure that all the decoration inside the car was completely green... I could even say that it would become one of my favorite spaces.
🎶 What songs have you completely memorized? 🎵
Oh... without a doubt, this question takes me back to my childhood. When I was little, I used to be a very lonely girl, so I ended up taking refuge in the series and cartoons I saw on television and of course, I'm mostly referring to Japanese anime.
For those who don't know, Japanese animations always tend to have an Opening song, which goes at the beginning of the chapter and an Ending, which is the song for the final credits. These songs are usually catchy or emotional and many of them, when dubbed into Spanish for the Latin audience, ended up touching my heart.
The first song that I remember that motivated me was the ending of the anime cybercat kuro chan, which is called Positive Vibration and in its lyrics, it mentions how the main character, who is a cat, puts all his effort into defending those he loves. But the phrase that always helped me feel better in my sad moments was the final part that said "Take life, always positive." For a girl who was always sad, that song filled me with hope and even now, listening to that song calms my heart.
Another anime song that also helped me in those moments of depression were the openings of Corrector Yui, "A Place Called Eternity" and "Tori ni Naru Toki", since their lyrics inspired me to think about the future with quite a bit of positivity.
I don't know them in their full version, but at least in this TV version and as I grew up, those songs were engraved in my memory and even as an adult, when I usually feel discouraged, I usually sing them to cheer myself up like they did back then, because they still have that power in me. I even dared to sing these last two at an event I went to years ago and I felt fulfilled haha.
Thank you very much for visiting my post. I hope you found it interesting.
💚 Until next time! 💚
I hope you get the car someday! I love the color in the photo of the VW Bug!
Music is balm for the soul and a universal language. Music will make everyone feel better! Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day!
I wish! It would be nice to have that vehicle completely green inside and out 😆
I certainly can't do anything without music, I need to have it playing in the background while I do anything. I feel like my life is better with music on 😉
Thank you so much for visiting my post and for commenting 🤗💚
You are most welcome! Take care and enjoy!🤗💜
