(ENG/ESP) Let's Make a Collage - Round 199: We'll paint / Vamos a pintar 🎨
ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello all collage lovers! Last week, although I found out about the contest in advance, I suffered from an artistic block so great that despite my efforts, I couldn't work on anything that convinced me. So, I decided not to participate. The process of making collages generally serves as a means of relaxation for me and the least I wanted was to end up stressing myself out with something I like haha Luckily this week, my participation for round #199, it was created the nice way I expected and without any hiccups:
The base image contributed by the community made me think about the scenes that are normally used when working in oils. So I thought about creating a fantastic painting, with creatures made of paintings. To do this, I opened the main image in Photoshop and searched the community gallery for images that could be used to make my composition.
I wanted it to be colorful and cheerful, so I was happy to get interesting figures, which I placed in the places that seemed most appropriate to me.
At first, @evagavilan2's matryoshka images were going to be other "drawings", part of the painting. But I thought it would be better to make them the "artists." My idea was born when, years ago, I got to share with the daughters of those who, at that time, were my classmates. Those girls always started drawing in my notebooks and I even let them, sometimes, draw with them too. Children's creativity is quite bizarre, you can find quite cute drawings even disturbing creations haha Until recently, I saved all the drawings that were given to me during my interaction with children.
After I was convinced of the place that all the pieces would occupy, I placed a few effects on each image, such as shading and outlining, so that they stood out from the background.
To separate "the drawing" and "the artists", I combined the layers in those two groups and applied a filter to the drawing layer, so that it looked like it was made with a brush technique. For the lighting and frame effects, I exported the image and opened it with the Line Camera app.
Thank you very much for visiting my publication. I hope you found it interesting.
Until next time!

I love the purple creature in the center...looks like a melting jelly bean :) It is a fanciful, upbeat collage. As is often the case with your work, much fun.
Thank you for using LIL images in this unique art. Good luck this week, @suezoe
I also fell in love with that monster when I saw it! It was a pleasant surprise to know that my friend did it and it was the image that encouraged me to guide myself through a fun concept 😌 Thank you very much for visiting my publication, for your opinion about my collage and for your good wishes 🤗💚
