Hello all collage lovers! It's nice to be back, I focused on other projects and every time I tried to participate, time passed 😅 Once again I almost got left out but here I am with my participation in the contest from this week :

I loved the photography contributed to the contest, so no matter what, I wanted to try to participate. Reviewing the gallery of community images, I selected the ones that caught my attention for the composition and opened them with the Photoshop program.

The concept that I wanted to work on is the idea that exists that beings are tied to their destiny, which is marked before their birth, so that no matter how much they fight against it, the destiny will be fulfilled no matter what. be. And since colorful things mixed with gloomy things also catch my attention, well, I implemented that in the collage.

To do this, I called the ship in the base photograph "The Destination" and gave it a more gloomy appearance by drawing some tentacles coming out from inside. Our protagonist, trying to escape his terrible destiny, boards a smaller ship and tries to embark on a better future... but, among the depths of the sea of life, the cruel tentacle of destiny resurfaces, in search of drag the unfortunate one back.

I like to think that we all have free will, but the question still arises... Will we not, without realizing it, end up following a path that we have already deliberately chosen? Wouldn't that then be having a marked destiny? Anyway, whatever the case, we hope that what the future has in store for us is joy and happiness.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los collages! Es agradable estar de vuelta, me enfoqué en otros proyectos y cada vez que intentaba participar, se me pasaba el tiempo 😅 Una vez más casi me quedo por fuera pero aquí estoy con mi participación en el concurso de ésta semana:

Me encantó la fotografía aportada para el concurso, así que a como diera lugar, deseaba intentar participar. Revisando entre la galería de imágenes de la comunidad, seleccioné las que me llamaron la atención para la composición y las abrí con el programa Photoshop.

El concepto que quise trabajar es la idea que existe de que los seres, están atados a su destino, el cual está marcado desde antes de sus nacimientos, de modo que sin importar lo mucho que se luche contra ello, el destino se cumplirá sea como sea. Y como me llama también la atención las cosas coloridas mezcladas con cosas tétricas, pues, implementé eso en el collage.

Para ello, llamé al barco de la fotografía base "El destino" y le di un aspecto más tétrico dibujándole unos tentáculos que salen desde su interior. Nuestro protagonista, tratando de huir de su terrible destino, se sube a un barco más pequeño y trata de embarcarse a un futuro mejor... pero, entre las profundidades del mar de la vida, resurge el tentáculo cruel del destino, en busca de arrastrar al desdichado de vuelta.

Me gusta pensar que todos tenemos libre albedrío, pero igual surge la duda... ¿Acaso, sin darnos cuenta, no acabaremos siguiendo un camino que ya deliberadamente escogimos? ¿Eso no sería entonces tener un destino marcado? En fin, sea como sea esperemos que lo que nos tenga deparado el futuro, sea dicha y felicidad.
