¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Hoy aparezco con mi respectiva participación en el concurso, luego de estar casi todo el día en cama con un ligero malestar 😅 hasta llegué a pensar que no podría publicar nada el día de hoy, pero por suerte, ya me siento mejor y aquí estamos, con ánimos para dedicarle a las letras ✍️

Hace poco fue San Valentín o más conocido en donde yo vivo El día del amor y la amistad. En ese día especial, las parejas, los enamorados y amigos, se preparan con antelación para demostrarle a esa persona especial cuanto aprecio les tienen, a través de un detalle. Las rosas, o flores en general, son un ícono para las parejas y recuerdo que mi padre solía llevarle a mi madre unos ramos bastante elaborados.

Por mi lado, nunca he recibido un arreglo floral en mi vida, porque no creo que cuente la vez que un chico me regaló una rosa de plástico 😆 Sé que muchos pensarán que no tiene sentido dar estos regalos porque al final, es algo que no perdura, pero pienso que el gesto es lo que prevalece.

No espero que nadie me entregue flores, pero he aprendido a ver la belleza de estos arreglos de flores naturales gracias a vlogs de la vida de otras chicas. Me gusta ver cuando compran flores lindas y las colocan en un florero, buscando de armonizar un espacio en particular. Uno puede llegar a pensar ¿Qué utilidad tiene comprar flores para que se marchiten en casa? Pienso que la importancia va más allá de una "utilidad" como tal. Muchos de nosotros hemos crecido pensando que si algo no tiene una utilidad real, entonces no se necesita.

Apreciar un lindo arreglo floral o así sea una flor, es más un sentido de conexión con nuestra parte sensible. Ser capaces de admirar la belleza que nos ofrece, así como deleitarnos con el olor de las flores... Pienso que hemos perdido la habilidad de apreciar lo sutil, incluso estando en la comodidad de nuestros hogares. Recuerdo que en varias ocasiones, cuando solía alquilar una habitación, solía conseguir flores que encontraba en mi camino y las colocaba en una botella decorada que tenía en una repisa. Ver aquellas flores, así fueran silvestres, en algún momento de mi día, siempre dibujaba en mi rostro una sonrisa.

No me siento mal por no haber recibido un ramo de flores este año, porque sé que la próxima vez que me encuentre con una flor, así sea pequeña, me detendré para apreciarla y para mí será, como si la naturaleza me la haya obsequiado 🌷

Hello to all the members of this community and lovers of creative writing! Today I appear with my respective participation in the contest, after being almost all day in bed with a slight discomfort 😅 I even thought that I would not be able to publish anything today, but luckily, I already feel better and here we are, with the spirit to dedicate myself to the letters ✍️

It was recently Valentine's Day or better known where I live as The day of love and friendship. On that special day, couples, lovers and friends prepare in advance to show that special person how much they appreciate them, through a detail. Roses, or flowers in general, are an icon for couples and I remember that my father used to bring my mother some very elaborate bouquets.

For my part, I have never received a flower arrangement in my life, because I don't think the time a boy gave me a plastic rose counts 😆 I know that many will think that it doesn't make sense to give these gifts because in the end, it is something that doesn't last, but I think that the gesture is what prevails.

I don't expect anyone to give me flowers, but I have learned to see the beauty of these natural flower arrangements thanks to vlogs of other girls' lives. I like to see when they buy pretty flowers and place them in a vase, trying to harmonize a particular space. One might think, what is the point of buying flowers to wither at home? I think the importance goes beyond a "use" as such. Many of us have grown up thinking that if something has no real use, then it is not needed.

Appreciating a nice floral arrangement or even a flower, is more about a sense of connection with our sensitive side. Being able to admire the beauty it offers us, as well as delighting in the smell of flowers... I think we have lost the ability to appreciate the subtle, even in the comfort of our homes. I remember that on several occasions, when I used to rent a room, I used to get flowers that I found on my way and put them in a decorated bottle that I had on a shelf. Seeing those flowers, even if they were wild, at some point in my day, always brought a smile to my face.

I don't feel bad about not receiving a bouquet of flowers this year, because I know that the next time I come across a flower, even if it's small, I'll stop to appreciate it and for me it will be as if nature had gifted it to me 🌷
