CONTENIDO EN ESPAÑOL

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Luego de una mañana algo fría y bajo un clima que parece que en cualquier momento caerá un chaparrón, me he animado a escribir para el concurso ¿Quiénes lograron aprovechar la Semana Santa? Para mí, los días pasaron súper rápido como de costumbre 😅

Sin duda, la imagen representa las dos caras de la moneda a la hora de pensar en la Semana Santa, ya que muchos lo ven como una oportunidad para relajarse, descansar y vacacionar, pero olvidan por completo el sentido religioso de esos días.

Al menos en mi familia, no se inculcaba la costumbre de estar metidos en la iglesia toda la semana, así que cuando era pequeña, si llegué a pensar en esa semana como la oportunidad de no tener clases y de ir a la playa.

Desde que soy adulta y trabajo de forma independiente, la semana santa transcurre para mí como una semana más. Pero eso no significa que sea indiferente de lo que representa. Nunca fui de ir a iglesias y las veces que lo llegué a hacer, fue por invitaciones. Siento que mi comunión con Dios va más a allá de ir a un sitio a rezar o confesar pecados, así que podría decirse que venero la creación a mi manera, así como todos los acontecimientos que ocurrieron en el pasado.

Recordar nuestra fe sólo en una semana en específico, es lo mismo que no tenerla, porque no tiene sentido actuar de una forma todo el año y pretender que durante toda una semana seremos más religiosos sólo por seguir unas cuantas normas.

Si bien, durante la Semana Santa decides ir a la playa, al río, la iglesia o no salir de tu casa, no debería haber problema. El respeto por la manera en que cada uno maneja su fe, debería ser lo importante. Porque alguien que esté en la playa y se conecte en ese momento con la creación que está frente a sus ojos, podría tener más fe que alguien que asiste a la iglesia como si fuera su segunda casa.

Hello to all the members of this community and lovers of creative writing! After a somewhat cold morning and under a climate that seemed like a downpour would fall at any moment, I decided to write for the contest. Who managed to take advantage of Easter? For me, the days went by super fast as usual 😅

Without a doubt, the image represents two sides of the same coin when it comes to thinking about Holy Week, as many see it as an opportunity to relax, rest, and vacation, but completely forget the religious meaning of those days.

At least in my family, the custom of being stuck in church all week wasn't instilled, so when I was little, I did think of that week as an opportunity to skip school and go to the beach.

Since I became an adult and work independently, Holy Week has been like any other week for me. But that doesn't mean I'm indifferent to what it represents. I've never been one to go to church, and the times I did, it was only by invitation. I feel that my communion with God goes beyond going somewhere to pray or confess sins, so you could say I venerate creation in my own way, as well as all the events that occurred in the past.

Remembering our faith only during a specific week is the same as not having it, because it doesn't make sense to act a certain way all year long and pretend that for an entire week we'll be more religious just by following a few rules.

Although during Holy Week you decide to go to the beach, the river, church, or stay home, there shouldn't be a problem. Respect for the way each person handles their faith should be the important thing. Because someone who is on the beach and connects in that moment with the creation before their eyes might have more faith than someone who attends church as if it were their second home.
