¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Desde hace unos días atrás, me tomé unos días de descanso de la ciudad y debo admitir que dicha acción ha tomado sus frutos, ya que me siento revitalizada, muy a pesar de que, al momento de escribir estas líneas, tenga algo de alergia debido al cambio de clima 🤧 Aprovechando que decidí quedarme en la casa debido a mi malestar, me animé a dedicarme a mi participación en el concurso, ya que siento que mi mente se halla más despejada 😌

Aparte del chocolate, el helado es de los dulces favoritos de mi novio. No sería exagerado decir que podría comer helado todos los días sin aburrirse. En cambio, yo nunca pensé que llegaría a cansarme de comer helado, pero durante el año que vivimos juntos, siempre que salíamos al centro comercial, religiosamente comíamos helado. Y no era un par de barquillas, no... Mi novio siempre pedía la tina de helado más grande para que la comiéramos juntos.

Indiscutiblemente de otra forma no hubiese podido comerme yo sola tanta cantidad de helado. Pero lo bueno es que, en algunas heladerías hay muchos sabores disponibles y cuando pides una porción grande, puedes escoger hasta seis sabores distintos. Eso hace la experiencia de comer el postre, mucho más deliciosa y todo se pone mejor cuando también te ofrecen la opción de colocar distintos toppers como trozos de galletas, maní, lluvia de chocolate y syrup.

Mis sabores favoritos de helados, son el de café, chicle, torta suiza y el de fresa. Aunque no son sabores que sean fáciles de hallar, sobre todo el de café; tengo años sin conseguir una heladería donde vendan éste sabor de helado, supongo que no es muy popular, a pesar de que es bastante delicioso, al menos para mí que soy amante del café.

En en presente, suelo comer helado únicamente cuando voy a visitar a mi novio, ya que es fijo que vamos a terminar comprando una tina grande de helado o unos barquillones, los cuales son barquillas de gran tamaño que suele mandar a comprar en las tardes donde hace mucho calor. Casualmente, hace un par de días atrás, mi novio compró barquillones para todos en su casa y entre los sabores disponibles (fresa, mantecado y chocolate), yo escogí el de chocolate. Estuvo bastante delicioso, pero no pude comérmelo completo, así que mi novio estuvo muy feliz al ayudarme 😇

Por esa misma razón, no suelo comprar helado estando sola. La promoción de un barquillón enorme por 1$ es bastante buena, pero estoy consiente de que no podré comerlo todo, así que, sería un desperdicio. La otra promoción que he visto, son de dos barquillas pequeñas por 1$... como siempre salgo sola, no tengo con quién compartir la otra barquilla y sería un desastre comerme las dos yo sola, pues podría derretirse una mientras como la otra o quedar satisfecha en el proceso.

De modo que, prefiero comer helado sólo cuando vengo a visitar a mi novio, no sólo es mas refrescante, porque él vive en una ciudad bastante calurosa, sino que me recuerda a aquel tiempo en el que vivíamos juntos y pasábamos las tardes del domingo en un centro comercial, mientras comíamos helado. Eso hace la experiencia mucho más agradable ✨

Hello to all the members of this community and lovers of creative writing! A few days ago, I took a few days off from the city and I must admit that this action has paid off, since I feel revitalized, despite the fact that, at the time of writing these lines, I have some allergies due to the change in weather 🤧 Taking advantage of the fact that I decided to stay home due to my discomfort, I decided to dedicate myself to my participation in the contest, since I feel that my mind is clearer 😌

Aside from chocolate, ice cream is one of my boyfriend's favorite treats. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he could eat ice cream every day without getting bored. On the other hand, I never thought I'd get tired of eating ice cream, but during the year we lived together, whenever we went to the mall, we religiously ate ice cream. And it wasn't just a couple of tubs, no... My boyfriend always ordered the largest tub of ice cream so we could eat it together.

Undoubtedly, I wouldn't have been able to eat so much ice cream otherwise. But the good thing is that some ice cream shops have many flavors available, and when you order a large portion, you can choose up to six different flavors. This makes the dessert experience so much more delicious, and it gets even better when they also offer different toppings like cookie pieces, peanuts, chocolate sprinkles, and syrup.

My favorite ice cream flavors are coffee, bubblegum, Swiss cake, and strawberry. Although these flavors aren't easy to find, especially the coffee flavor, I haven't been able to find an ice cream shop that sells this flavor for years. I guess it's not very popular, even though it's quite delicious, at least for me, as a coffee lover.

At present, I usually only eat ice cream when I visit my boyfriend, since we're bound to end up buying a big tub of ice cream or some wafers, which are large cones he usually orders out on hot afternoons. Coincidentally, a couple of days ago, my boyfriend bought wafers for everyone at home, and out of the available flavors (strawberry, ice cream, and chocolate), I chose the chocolate one. It was quite delicious, but I couldn't eat the whole thing, so my boyfriend was happy to help me 😇

For that same reason, I don't usually buy ice cream when I'm alone. The promotion for a huge wafer for $1 is pretty good, but I'm aware that I won't be able to eat it all, so it would be a waste. The other promotion I saw was for two small cones for $1... since I always go out alone, I don't have anyone to share the other cone with, and it would be a disaster to eat both of them alone, as one might melt while I eat the other, or I'd get full in the process.

So, I prefer to eat ice cream only when I come to visit my boyfriend. Not only is it more refreshing, because he lives in a fairly hot city, but it reminds me of the time we lived together and spent Sunday afternoons at the mall eating ice cream. That makes the experience much more enjoyable ✨
