My Christmas with Freyja, Misha and Gandalf! (photo session) 🐈🎄❤️ [ESP/ENG]

¡Hola querida comunidad de @hivepets! Feliz y prospero año nuevo para todos ustedes y para cada una de las personas que lee en este momento, deseo de corazón que tanto ustedes como sus dulces mascotas vivan un año pleno, lleno de buena salud, mucho amor y alegría!

Aprovechando que había hecho una mini sesión de fotos a dos de mis mascotas pensé que era la oportunidad perfecta para ser parte de este contest aquí en #hivepets, pues en casa cuento con tres gatos, Freyja, Misha y Gandalf, los cuales son rescatados y esterilizados, viven bajo mi cuidado donde intento diariamente ser una mejor persona para ellos, esta navidad fue especial, pues Freyja ya había vivido una navidad conmigo, pero Gandalf y Misha llegaron a mis brazos este año, para no hacerles el cuento muy largo Gandalf a raíz de una infección en un ojo, tuvimos que operarlo de emergencia donde le quitaron toda la piel podrida dejando su ojo y parte de su frente sin piel, fue un proceso largo su recuperación, tomo unos 3 meses ver el progreso de su piel, pero gracias al cielo ya está 100% curado, es muy feliz corriendo y escalando palmeras, por otro lado, Misha estaba en la calle desnutrida, sin equilibrio y sin querer comer, su anterior dueña no quiso hacer nada al respecto, así que la “secuestramos” jaja, la traje a casa donde con ayuda de los médicos pudimos curarla y salvarla, así que para mí estos dos gatos son auténticos guerreros que no se dejaron vencer por las adversidades!

Esta fue nuestra primera navidad juntos, así que estaba un poco nerviosa por como resultaría, más adelante les cuento a detalle como pasamos estas fechas, por ahora quiero mostrarles mi hermoso arbolito de navidad gatuno y las fotografías que pude tomarle a Freyja y Misha, Gandalf no quiso colaborar así que les debo una sesión de fotos navideña solo de Gandalf jajaja.

Taking advantage that I had made a mini photo shoot to two of my pets I thought it was the perfect opportunity to be part of this contest here in #hivepets, because at home I have three cats, Freyja, Misha and Gandalf, which are rescued and sterilized, they live under my care where I try daily to be a better person for them, this Christmas was special, because Freyja had already lived a Christmas with me, but Gandalf and Misha came into my arms this year, to not make the story too long Gandalf as a result of an infection in one eye, we had to operate him in emergency where they removed all the rotten skin leaving his eye and part of his forehead without skin, it was a long process his recovery, it took about 3 months to see the progress of his skin, but thank heaven he is 100% cured, he is very happy running and climbing palm trees, on the other hand, Misha was in the street malnourished, without balance and not wanting to eat, her previous owner did not want to do anything about it, so we "kidnapped" her haha, I brought her home where with the help of doctors we were able to cure her and save her, so for me these two cats are true warriors who did not let themselves be defeated by adversity!

This was our first Christmas together, so I was a little nervous about how it would turn out, later I will tell you in detail how we spent these dates, for now I want to show you my beautiful little cat Christmas tree and the pictures I could take of Freyja and Misha, Gandalf did not want to collaborate so I owe you a Christmas photo shoot only of Gandalf hahaha.

Dicen que cuando adoptas a tu primer gato un amor incondicional nace en ti, y saben qué? Es verdad, lo viví, pues en mi familia era normal rescatar perros callejeros, más, mi papá nunca me dejo tener un gato, cuando me independice tuve la oportunidad de tener a una gatita, Emilia, quien abrió mi corazón a un mundo totalmente distinto, retador, lleno de muchas experiencias y sobre todo amor, por eso aún hoy en día, aunque ella ya este en el cielo, sigo usando el arbolito de navidad que con tanto amor hice gracias a ella, como ven en las fotos hay muchos gatitos y patitas al rededor representando a todos los mininos que han pasado por mi vida, y en el tope esta Emilia, la gatita que detono todo el amor que hoy siento por los felinos en general.

It's true, I lived it, because in my family it was normal to rescue stray dogs, more, my dad never let me have a cat, when I became independent I had the opportunity to have a kitten, Emilia, who opened my heart to a totally different world, challenging, full of many experiences and above all love, that's why even today, although she is in heaven, I still use the Christmas tree that with so much love I made thanks to her, as you can see in the pictures there are many kittens and paws around it representing all the cats that have passed through my life, and at the top is Emilia, the kitten that triggered all the love I feel today for cats in general.

Freyja, ella es mi bebe consentida jaja no es que no quiera por igual a los demás, ocurre que luego de Emilia llego Freyja a mi vida para ayudarme con el duelo y a volver a abrir mi corazón para aprender a ayudar a los gatitos que más lo necesiten, además ella llegó a mi vida siendo una bebe, por ende es el terremoto de la casa jajaja siempre está jugando, corriendo y quiere cariñitos, le encanta estar en la naturaleza como yo, disfruta mucho de escalar árboles y tomar el sol, además en edad humana tiene unos 21 años de edad.

Para las fotografías se comportó bien, no fue tan complicado y más bien no quería irse luego de allí jajaja.

Freyja, she is my spoiled baby haha it's not that I don't love the others equally, it happens that after Emilia, Freyja came into my life to help me with the grief and to reopen my heart to help the kittens that need it most, she also came into my life as a baby, so she is the earthquake of the house hahaha she is always playing, running and wants cuddles, she loves to be in nature like me, she enjoys climbing trees and sunbathing, also in human age she is about 21 years old.

For the pictures he behaved well, it wasn't so complicated and he didn't want to go away from there hahaha.

Como ya les dije Misha estaba desnutrida cuando la rescatamos, así que verla con un peso normal considerando su edad, con un pelaje suave, abundante y brilloso, con unos ojos grandes, nítidos y lindos, antes no maullaba ahora si lo hace, incluso corre por toda la casa y juega un poco, ese progreso me hace muy feliz y también me hace sentir orgullosa de ella por sobrevivir! En edad humana, Misha tendría unos 68 años de edad.

Para las fotografías, no fue fácil jaja, es decir, al principio no le agrado mucho el lugar, pero luego de ofrecerle un pedacito de jamón más que contenta se quedó para las fotos jajajajaja, además creo que fueron las más lindas de esta sesión.

As I told you Misha was malnourished when we rescued her, so to see her with a normal weight considering her age, with a soft, abundant and shiny coat, with big, sharp and cute eyes, before she didn't meow now she does, she even runs around the house and plays a little, that progress makes me very happy and also makes me feel proud of her for surviving! In human age, Misha would be about 68 years old.

For the pictures, it wasn't easy haha, I mean, at first she didn't like the place very much, but after offering her a little piece of ham she was more than happy to stay for the pictures hahahahahaha, besides I think they were the prettiest of this session.

😸 ¿Como disfruto de la navidad con mis mascotas? 😸

Aprovechando que estas fechas son de menos trabajo diría que intento pasar mucho más tiempo con mis mininos, aunque ya es rutina salir juntos en la mañana a tomar el sol, luego en casa jugar un poco y por las tardes mientras trabajo ellos duermen, en navidad fortalecemos vínculos, más tiempo para salir a pasear en los jardines, más tiempo para jugar, más tiempo para cariñitos y mimos en general, incluso ellos disfrutan de los adornos navideños, ninguno mordió o rompió algo, creo que es por qué les hago juguetes y les encanta jugar con ellos, además siempre tengo una o dos cajas en la sala de estar, así además de jugar con cuerdas/plumas también pueden esconderse y disfrutar de las cajas.

Esta navidad tuvimos la visita de más familiares, por lo que no solo yo pude crear vínculos con mis gatos, también mi familia se encargó de disfrutar de ellos y mientras estuvieron aquí así fue, así que esta navidad mis tres gatos se sintieron muy mimados y amados jajaja, sobre todo Gandalf, pues él es sumamente cariñoso y juguetón, Freyja es más de jugar y Misha solo quiere dormir y recibir amor.

😸 How do I enjoy Christmas with my pets? 😸

Taking advantage of these dates are less work I would say that I try to spend much more time with my kittens, although it is routine to go out together in the morning to sunbathe, then at home play a little and in the evenings while I work they sleep, at Christmas we strengthen bonds, more time to go for walks in the gardens, more time to play, more time for cuddles and cuddles in general, they even enjoy the Christmas decorations, none of them bit or broke anything, I think it's because I make toys for them and they love to play with them, plus I always have one or two boxes in the living room, so besides playing with strings/feathers they can also hide and enjoy the boxes.

This Christmas we had more family members visiting, so not only I was able to bond with my cats, also my family took care of enjoying them and while they were here they did, so this Christmas my three cats felt very pampered and loved hahaha, especially Gandalf, he is extremely affectionate and playful, Freyja is more about playing and Misha just wants to sleep and receive love.

💥 ¿Como ayudo a mis mascotas con los ruidos molestos de la pirotecnia? 💥

Primero estoy atenta a ellos, es decir, cuando comienzan las personas a practicar la pirotecnia los busco y los vigilo, al comienzo suelen estar atentos, pero no alterados, si los ruidos se vuelen más fuertes, por precaución abro todos los closets o gavetas, por si quieren esconderse para sentirse seguros, luego si alguno está muy asustado, lo acompaño, hablándole y haciéndole muchos cariñitos, para que no se sienta solo y por último (en caso de emergencia) utilizo catnip seco, recordemos que el catnip puede ayudar a relajarlos, así que se coloca un poco en sus patas, además con mis manos restriego un poco y luego los acaricio.

Es lo que suelo hacer y me ha funcionado para ayudar a mis gatos en estos momentos.

Gracias al cielo esta navidad no hubo tanta, al menos donde yo vivo, así que no se escondieron, pero si estaban atentos, de todos modos los acaricie mucho y los abrace para que no sintieran más miedos.

First I am attentive to them, that is to say, when people begin to practice pyrotechnics, I look for them and watch them, at the beginning they are usually attentive, but not altered, if the noises become louder, as a precaution I open all the closets or drawers, in case they want to hide to feel safe, then if someone is very frightened, I accompany them, talking to them and giving them lots of cuddles, so they don't feel alone and finally I use dry catnip, remember that catnip can help to relax them, so I put some on their paws, also with my hands I rub a little bit and then I caress them, this is what I usually do and it has worked for me to help my cats in these moments.

Thank heavens this Christmas there were not so many, at least where I live, so they did not hide, but they were attentive, anyway I petted them a lot and hugged them so they did not feel more fear.
