Today's entry for the #monomad Challenge - by Sunscape

This is a photo of a male Monarch that I raised from an egg this past summer. I thought the butterflies would be a great subject for the #monomad challenge.



This photo is of one that is enjoying sunning itself on a Hydrangea blossom.



This male had just emerged from the chrysalis and was starting to pump its wings with fluid.



After releasing this female she decided to enjoy some nectar from one of the Zinnia flowers in the butterfly garden. I hope you enjoyed seeing my Monarch Butterflies in #blackandwhite as I think the contrast is stunning.
