W.E #222 // THESE TWO MEALS UNTIL THE END

I think that I have answered this question before in multiple contests on this platform. And then, thinkng about how much of myself I have shared on here, i think the meals or let's say one of the meals that I choose/share would be quite familiar to some of you who have visited my blog a couple of times.

When I saw the topic, the first words that came in my head were, 'Why eat just two meals when there is an abundance. Cause, as much as I love these meals and could eat them for long. I also enjoy other foods as well.

Regardless, two meals to eat forever until the day I die and the first and the best pick would be Beans. I share a lot about how much I love beans and how my family calls me Okukuseku, the god of beans. I make the best beans meal ever. My love for the meal started very early when I was much younger, and since then, I have never looked back. Be it beans porridge or white beans had with any stew of choice, I'm in. Its a very versatile meal that could be paired with most other foods like: with plantain, with yam, bread, pap, spaghetti, noodles, cassava flakes(popularly known as garri), I could go on and on about the many foods that you could have this meal with.
Beans are very tasty, highly nutritious, and can be made in different ways. I'm sslivating terribly now. Lol.

I feel like this is one question if you ask anybody who knows me, they would not think twice before they give you a reply. There is no need for the long epistle and praise cause, as we know, its reputation preceeds it.

The very next meal would be Rice.
Of course, I don't like it as much as I do beans, but then, like beans, it is versatile. You can have it in the white form with stew/sauce. ou can have it as you love. It can be made into varying forms such as fried rice, jollof, coconut rice, ofada rice, and literally anything. And the best part of it all is that you can have it with beans. The two meals together? Tastes divine! I kid you not

So I think these two choices make sense to me, because, I could always have them in different ways. All i need to do is to make them in different ways and then pair them together. That way, I get a whole different meal with a different taste, which is nutrient packed, too. Come on, what do you say?

And yeah, they are the meals that I could have all day every day if I had to pick just two foods to eat for the rest of my life.
