Phone Photography 49 : Night Visitors

Happy weekends everyone, its night time again and a lot of insects is gathering again in the house where lights are placed. So for this weeks contest I will be sharing some photos of them that I took. I love taking close shots of insects , and I'm thankful to them they just stay still while I take their photos.

So first is this grass hopper, I very green one. It's just siting there in our window waiting for me to take a photo.

The next one is a dragonfly, this is my favorite photo so this will be my entry for this contest. This usually are easily scared off when someone comes close to them, I'm glad this time it just stayed there.

And for my last visitor photo is this little praying mantis, its still small . I'm not sure if this changes colors when it grows bigger since most mantis that I see is colored brown. Anyways he is also a good sport while I took it's photo.

These are just a few of the many insects that visits us at night.
