Splinterlands Battle Mage Challenge : Hitting the Weak (Or so they Thought )
Hello again fellow Splinterland Friends, the day has come to show our skills to the battle gods of Splinterlands.
Here is the challenge ruleset for this week.
- What I love about this rule is it allows players to learn the proper placement of Units, Unlike in normal battles that it's easier to place units based on their abilities. And also this rule makes melee units more useful since they can now attack whatever position they are in.
Battle Conditions
Aside from the given challenge rule, this conditions are also to be taken into consideration.
- Lost Magic - All magic Units can't be used in battle, now this gives chance to low health units with high shield.
- Enrage - Melee Units will increase their speed and damage when attacked
- Mana - 53 Mana is given, giving me a plenty room to summon a lot of valuable high mana cards
- Element - All element is available, so we go with the strongest element based on the given conditions.
Line Up Selection
QUIX - since only melee and ranged units can be used a debuff of -1 ranged damage and a +1 Speed buff will be very usefull.
KULU - with a very high damage, the most usefull skill of his is the weapons training that gives damage to my no damage units.
BAAKJIRA - with the weapons training giving it a damage, its high health and sustainability makes it more useful .
NOAH THE JUST - With its ability rust, penetrating through thick shield will be easier, and also being the second to be prioritized that didge will give them a hard time hitting.
ARKEMIS THE BEAR - Everything about this card is worth the pick, the additional armor, the halving and Forcefield makes it a utility and heavy hitter all in one.
COASTAL SENTRY - the high damage combined with piercing and double strike shows how a monster she is in the right ruleset. A total of 10 damage for a single unit has a very big impact.
DUMACKE ORC - with the shield reducing damage of melee and ranged, and a single health combined with thorns this priority target unit will make them regret hitting him.
Battle Highlights
My Orc was first to fall but, but he already dealth a lot of damage to the opposing team with it's retaliate and thorns. Now that makes it easier for his team to finish the job.
Well that was unexpected, my Noah was first to fall, sadly the dodge did not work quite well. But I know they will avenge their fallen brother in arms.
since the other team is already have weak defenses, during Sentry's turn she was able to eliminate Noah and enemy Sentry with her massive double strike damage. Now that's the revenge I'm talking about.
With my Sentry Enraged giving her more speed, the opponents turn was almost useless since non of their attacks hit. SO its our time again to punish them, and on the process Kulu was eliminated.
After Kulu everyone in the others side have fallen one by one, they may have gotten Sentry but now only the Squid is left to give a real fight, and with the debuffs it received it's pointless to struggle.
On the final round only Baakjira is left to defend, but it was helpless against my heavy hitters that just took it's health away.
Another victory on the books.
