Splinterlands Socail Media Challenge : My King of Back to Basics

It's been a while my friends since I posted something about the cards in the game, so I guess it's time to share of my strategy that I use in battle specially in the selection process. I know this is not for veteran players but I know this will help some new players.

I've been getting a lot of back to basics this days, a perfect time to share about this card that can compete in this rule even just at level 1.

This is the shock trooper, for me is a very effective unit to use in Back to basics rule. This card only has one skill at level one, which is the Electrified that damages all allied units in round two, now that is a disadvantage for me . It has a lot of damage for a 4 mana unit, so in back to basics all it's skill is remove, all that's left is it's massive 4 magic damage.

Here is one of the battle where I used it, to show more how powerful this card is.

This battle is a back to basic one, I always prefer using magic units for this one, since they can just pierce thru those thick armors. We have the same idea, but with the limited mana we differ in picks. Just by looking at my line up I have better damage and one of the main contributor is the shock trooper. It has no threat at the back so I placed him there since it has lesser health to utilize the damage that he has.

My team burned the opponent tank , and as you can see the damage of the shock trooper is something that really hurts. 4 magic damage compared to the units with higher mana requirements. So as the battle continued, it's just a hit and repeat until all enemy is obliterated.

With my proper placement my main man still stands , now this should me enough to prove how strong this card is, and take note the card that I used is just level one.
