Splinterlands Social Media Challenge : The Best Neutral Units in my Deck

A lot of changes were made into the game compared to the previous versions of this game. And one of the big changes that made the game more challenging are the new rules added to the previous. And one of the rule that I love playing is " The Shades of Grey " , a rule where only neutral units are available to be used in battles. This is the main reason I prioritize acquiring neutral units, not only for this rule but, neutral units gives a lot of advantage specially in times when only a few elements were available.

To showcase some neutral units that I love in my current deck here is a battle featuring The Shades of Gray Rule.

• Alvar - This tank is a very useful again all types of damage, with it's void armor it can direct the damage to its armor as if it is a melee or range attack. In addition the demoralize ability gives a good advantage since damage of melee units are being reduced making it hard for it's thick armor and big health hard to deplete.

• Usareus - this low mana unit is a very useful in almost all battles, given the low mana required to summon it and the poison makes it a very useful sneak unit hurting units from the backlines.

• Marksrat - this unit is one of my favorite unit, specially when it reaches max level, that shatter allows easy penetration for heavily shielded tanks , also the Martyr ability is one of the most overpowered skill in the game boosting units effectively when properly placed.

• Venari Spellsmith - a very useful low mana mage, aside from the damage the utility skills that it possesses were so good in countering buffed units because of the cleanse and the redemption ability proves it's worth even after death.

• Supply Runner - another one of the most used neutral units, the speed and health boost makes her a very good assist unit. This skills makes everyone on the team sturdier and harder to hit.

• Runi - the one and only unit in the game that can self resurrect, with this ability attracting opportunity units gives more time for other units do deal the needed damage to the opposing team, not only once but twice. This unit also may be slow but all it's hit always connect . Runi has a lot of uses and rule are that are more effective, like the Fumes rules, that because of the resurrect it can stay safe after the activation from poison. I seldom see this unit being used ,but I know this still has a lot to offer in the battlefield.

So now here are some action from this neutral units .

• One of my main problem here is the junker and the bear, the repair ability and the halving ability is always so hard to deal with. Good thing my main tank alvar like I said have a very thick health and shield. And with the speed of Usareus it was able to connect even with the target having the dodge ability.

• And with the rule having the snipe ability for range and mage units , one of the main damage dealer is being targeted by my units.

• And with the combination of Usareus and Runi they hit the backlines continuously, the sneak removing any shield and Runi finishing the job. The bear may have reduced the attack of Alvar but the other units are actively getting the job done.

• The junker may have repaired a few shield but the resiliency of my units made us win this fight. This neutral units really showed that even without the main element units, they can still deliver a blow to the enemy.
