Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Weapons Training

Hello everyone, another week for sharing our experiences in our favorite card game here on Hive. A lot of changes are now happening in to the game with the introduction of the new reward cards but still the old once are still very useful. So for this week I will be sharing a battle that features the strength of a skill first introduced in the previous reward cards, a skill that gives power to those without. And this skill is the Weapons Training, a skill that grants attack damage based on the type of unit that the skill source is, so units with no attack can acquire melee ,range or magic based on the source.

And to give more highlight to the skill I will be sharing a battle where I used a unit with the skill Weapons Training.

This is one of my favorite legendary in the death element, because its a well rounded units giving a decent damage and also good utility skills like the resurrect.

So now here is my featured Battle.

• This Battle is Briar Patch rule equipped, giving all units the thorns ability, a perfect time to use mage and range units. So to debuff enemies I chose the death element, and to make the debuff more irritating I added the units Will-O-Wisp and Riftwing reducing the ranged and magic damage of all enemy units. As you can see all magic damage is reduced to the minimum. They are the best utility units in the death element for me. To solve their lack of damage this is where Skok Comes in to actions with the weapons training giving them both 2 magic damage.

• At first the speed battle is in favor of the opponent but as the skills and debuffs were applied the tables turned. Now the unbeatable Diemonshark that always gives me a hard time was immediately eliminated. With mostly a magic lineup my attack have a slim chance of missing.

• Still in the first round , the opponent was able to take out my tank but thanks to the resurrect my Windeku can take one more for the team.
• The Opponent now has Osheanus as their tank,the phase is a good counter for my units but our speed is almost matched so missing have a slim chance.

• Still in the second round , almost all enemy units is removed and My second unit is still able to sustain all attacks, now this is a clear victory for me.

• This only show how crucial the Weapons' Training skill is, most units with skills have no attacks so with this skill they can now also contribute in dealing damage to the enemy.

And I guess that's is, I hope you got something on how to use the featured Ability.
