RE: Cigarette, two... with coffee

I am a smoker, and I have ALWAYS thought that non-smokers should take breaks too. Before I was a smoker, I used to say "I'm going to act like a smoker and take a break!" That's exactly what I would do.
I would never smoke in someone's house, but in America you can't smoke inside anywhere. We all smoke in the rain and cold.

It turned out that breaks are a real treatment for increasing productivity at work, for all employees, whether they are smokers or not.
I have often known that when my colleagues go on a smoke break, I follow them with a cup of tea or coffee and take a mini-break.
But not every time, because their cigarette breaks are quite frequent :-)

A few years ago, for the first time in my life, I saw smokers in a specially fenced smoking area at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. They didn't even allow them to be outside, only in that glass cube. And I felt sorry for them... After all, it is an excessive restriction of people...
When I was in Moscow 10 years ago in December (in the Russian winter), I saw real, persistent smokers.
At -10°C, in front of restaurants and cafes, in shirts and dresses, they hold their drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

I live in Minnesota, and the winters can be brutal. The smokers here have to be hardcore.
