Loh #197: My parents bring out the best version of me!

It's another week full of fun and adventure, and it's a great start to participate in the most awaited writing contest here in the Ladies of Hive Community.
So now, it's a great pleasure to answer one of the fantastic questions from @trucklife-family.

1️⃣ Who in your life inspires you to become the best version of yourself, and how do they do so?

I am blessed to have my parents in my life; they have supported me through good times and bad, helping shape the person I am today. My parents have inspired me to reach all that I can be.

I had big dreams when I was younger, and as I got older and saw how my parents struggled financially because of their poverty, I vowed to myself that I would work hard in my studies and do everything in my power to support and assist them.

My goal inspired me to follow my aspirations and gave me the fortitude to grow into the person I am today for my parents.

When I finally realized my dreams, I saw firsthand the hardships and sacrifices my parents had to make for me. I experienced all the restless evenings when my parents would discuss how best to meet my academic demands.

Not only is teaching my dream job, but also my parents. I cherished their unwavering support for me from the start of my journey. They never lost hope in me or my dreams, which makes them the most resilient and dependable people I know.

They always give everything to me and have faith in my ability to succeed as a teacher, even during the darkest and most difficult times in our lives.

Even though my parents' poverty prevented me from becoming the woman I am today, they never allowed them to undermine their faith in me despite all the criticism and condemnation we received from others.

Unfortunately, the darkest and most agonizing event in our lives—my mother's departure from us last year—came as unexpected.

However, I know she will always be proud of me today because she gave me a lot of love and support growing up. And I'll make sure that they continue to be my source of motivation and strength in everything I do, helping me to keep going after the goals we set together.

Their presence and influence have been invaluable in helping to shape me into the person I am today, and for that, I am so grateful. Their unwavering support and encouragement have served as my compass. Even in my lowest moments, their steadfast faith in me has helped me rise above obstacles and pursue my dreams. They have given me the confidence to pursue my passions and encouraged me to dream big. Their successes and perseverance have inspired me always to aim high and reject inferiority.

They have always been my greatest critics, and I am grateful.Their sage advice has helped me grow and improve every aspect of my life. I am thankful for the times they pushed me to go beyond my comfort zone to discover new territory and reach my most significant potential.

They have helped me learn the value of time and discipline. Their dedication to rising early and making the most of every day has instilled in me a strong work ethic, a deep respect for time, and an appreciation of proactive productivity.

They have shown me the importance of putting the past behind us when uncertainty looms. Instead, they emphasized the value of being in the moment, appreciating every day, and having faith in the process. Their cool-headed outlook on life has given me the confidence to face challenges head-on and embrace the unknown.

I can never say how much I appreciate them. They've aided in my development into a more resilient, focused, and compassionate individual. Their steadfast love, care, and encouragement have been the pillars of my life. I will always be grateful for what they taught me, and I will keep their teachings in mind as I go through life.

Our parents are crucial to the mannerisms we pick up and the traits we acquire. Our parents are our guardians, who mold us and set us out into the world to be the people they had a hand in shaping.

The people who have inspired me the most are my parents; they are my rock. They serve as my mentors and give me the strength to overcome life's challenges.

To my Papa and Mama, I am forever grateful.

Without you, I would not be the person I am today. Without you, I would not be who I am today. You were blessed with a child like me. Being blessed doesn't even begin to describe how lucky I got with parents like you.

Its wonderful to see both parents investing their lives in their children in that way. When I was growing up it seemed like each of my parents we're following different scripts and standards.

I am so blessed to have them, and maybe all parents have their own perspective when it comes to their standards.
