Since I was in my High School days, I remembered it so well, we celebrate "Buwan ng Wika" in our school campus headed by the School Head, Teachers, and Students. The SSG(Supreme School Government) prepared different activities to celebrate the national language of us Filipino. My memories are very lucid I remembered it very well, when this month is approaching our adviser made a list or pick students to compete. I was picked with our School Guidance Counselor to be a Lakambini to compete in Balagtasan Contest at first it was a school-based competition but God moves in a mysterious ways in just a blink of my eye I will be competing in division based contest. I also remember how we used to wear classical and traditional dress in order to get a points for our subject teacher. We have different surprises, we also spoke Tagalog only for 24 hours. I also compete with different contest like Sayawit and Tula, and the best part is how we get the gold medals for our different category awards. Buwan ng Wika is a nostalgic and yet prideful month for us Filipino.
