Parklife Reflection Hunters Contest
Hello Hello reflection hunters and all sunny people of the Hive
It's my first reflection hunt of the year!
Actually it was not a planned hunt, but isn't that the way, often the best things in life are planned.
I was compiling a post for feathered friends when I realised I had reflections from the park.
It was a couple of weeks ago, so about the second week in January 2024.
As you can tell the sun was moving. Actually the sun was falling, it is winter so when the sun comes down it gets dark pretty quick.
This was our local park which is about a 7 minute walk to where I took this picture from home.
The water is the boat pond which is also home to a pair of mute swans, countless seagulls, and some cute coots moorhens and ducks...
Hence the post coming tomorrow!
But now, decisions, decisions, decisions!
Yes it's that time for me to choose my entry picture!
So here 👇👇👇 is my entry for Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 151
I have chosen this picture because the sun is coming down fast and the reflections draw me to the trees if that makes any sense to anyone other than me🤣
I never know which picture to choose as the entry, and these ones are quite varied to say the least!
What do you think? Did I pick the suitable one, or would you have chosen another one?
Thats just so pretty I love ittttt. My fav is the second photo though ehe
Yeah the sun put me off but I do like it too!
All the best in the contest Ed
the reflection looks so lovely, make the tree even bigger. : )
thanks Eka, yeah they stretch the trees!
Lol, you picked a good picture as your entry photo boss T. All the pictures are nice.
Is it still winter now, isn't it supposed to be spring season?
Spring not until April hehe we are still in winter with February often the worst month still to come!
Oh my gosh! This is too much boss T but I guess you all are used to it
hehe life Becky! #thestruggleisreal
Yeah, no doubt boss boss
Good choice but I love the second pix
The sun put me off in the second pic, but I was going to do that one 🤣
How are you, dear friend @tengolotodo, how are you?
It is very true, many times things turn out better without a plan, you should never lose spontaneity
What a beautiful park, and what beautiful reflections. Excellent shots, thank you very much for showing us
Have a wonderful weekend
Oh I love being spontaneous as often they are the best way to do thigns!
The park is beautiful and such a close walk away, it is one reason why we moved here!
The reflection scenes are lovely and so crisp. Well done!
Thank you, winter sun sure does help to give crisp water reflections!
