My first steps / Dark Souls - PS3 - Part 1

A warm greeting to everyone in this amazing Gaming Photography community and I hope you are enjoying your day.

Today I want to share with you what I have experienced in the story of this amazing Dark Souls adventure.

It is an Action Role Playing Game, which will lead us with its story to discover what we were summoned for in this world with so many secrets to be revealed.

My little cousin has been recommending this game on my PS3 for a while now and I've never really played this kind of genre as I'm more of a Shooter kind of guy, he told me it will be challenging and I'll like it. To my surprise I'm liking how the game looks graphically the first steps of the tutorial I'm liking it, apparently I'm an Undead we will need to collect souls to improve our stats and find the reason why we are here.

As I was about to finish the tutorial I found this boss that with two hits I was taking down all my life, not having the photo mode in the game it was difficult to capture those moments in the battle because when I was taking the photo the game continued and the enemy kept attacking while I was in the menu of my PS3.

Apart from dying four times trying to take these pictures I ended up dying two more times trying to take out this boss. I really liked its design it's kind of scary and I didn't expect that at the beginning of the game I would have to face this giant creature.

I managed to finish the boss, it was quite a challenge, I had a lot of fun facing him and when I left the room where I was I met a gentleman who couldn't get through the boss and is about to die and he gives us some bottles to recover some life.

When we leave the tutorial we are taken by a huge bird to the entrance of a castle which is apparently where my adventure will begin. I loved the photo where you can see a part of this castle in the middle of the night.

Once I was at the beginning I explored the area to take some pictures before arriving to the meeting point, the one I liked the most was this one, I managed to take the picture with the angle and the view I wanted and that mist gives it an epic touch, I loved it.

Already in the main area I find a chest that apparently if I die and lose an important item in the game such as a key it will be here, the only thing I would have to do is to travel to this place to take it again.

I climbed up to the top and I found the bird that had released us at the entrance at the beginning, its design is scary, I was expecting something nicer, not so scary, hahaha.

Exploring I come across a graveyard that apparently here come the enemies that we eliminate to rest in peace but the moment I enter these come out as immortal skeletons that do not stop attacking me and as they are immortal I can not eliminate them so I ran away when I had the chance.

I start the adventure and the first enemies are a challenge, I'm not used to this style of game but I'm liking it a lot, I have to enter this city and meet someone.

This city is huge and full of many enemies and I got lost many times as there are many entrances and stairs. Luckily I'm collecting souls to raise my character stats.

I managed to find the main path and I found another boss and this one was guarding the door through which I had to go through. After the third attempt I managed to finish him off as it was quite a challenge, not only did I have to take care of him but also of two archers who kept shooting arrows at me and the space that there was didn't help much.

Personally I thought I wouldn't like this game but I didn't, the difficulty of the two bosses I faced were a challenge, I can't imagine what the others will be like so I will level up a lot to be able to face better what is to come.

It's definitely a big change for me as I'm used to Shooter type games, first time in my life I've played one like this and I really liked it.

The difficulty of the enemies I encountered along the way were a challenge, the slightest carelessness would eliminate me and I would have to continue from the last save point.
