I hope your mother gets well. I certainly know the feeling, my mother was recently in the hospital with heart failure. It was hard to see her so weak...and so adamant she wouldn't take her medications. Luckily I was able to convince her the medication wasn't poison and she is doing better now.

Still, hard to see your mother ailing.

Take care.

Hello!
Yes, it is really very difficult, these are feelings that I would not like to have, but there are times when I get discouraged, but I have to get up.
I hope to see my mom out of that hospital room too.
Thank you very much for your comment.
Best regards.

I had to say things I never wanted to with my mom.

She told me "I hate it when everyone says to take my medication! I don't like people to tell me what to do!"

Except I'm a Pharmacist and I knew where she was at. I had to tell her. "I won't tell you what to do. You can make your own choices of course. However, if you don't take your meds you probably only have 2 or 3 months left to live. With the medication 2 - 3 years...maybe a little more"....

...."The choice is yours but I'd like to wait a little longer before I have to say goodbye".

It wasn't a fun conversation ... but uncompensated heart failure is no joke 😣

I'm glad she listened and is doing better now and again, hope your mother gets out of the hospital soon

I am glad you were able to talk to your mom and that she is now taking her medications, I hope you enjoy her for a long time to come.
Thank you very much for your comment and good wishes, I had not responded because I was at the hospital all day.
The doctors say that my mother is getting better and that is great news.
Greetings.
