Aunque no pude estar físicamente presente para celebrar este logro tan importante, mi corazón estaba con ella en cada instante. La distancia no puede borrar el orgullo que siento por ella y por todo lo que ha alcanzado.

Last month was a very special moment for our family: my younger sister graduated with one of the highest GPAs in her class. Although I could not be physically present to celebrate this important achievement, my heart was with her every moment. Distance cannot erase the pride I feel for her and all that she has achieved.

Mi chiquitica hermosa, mi guacaipuro se graduó, hace 5 años ella era la única que me había acompañado de mi familia a mi graduación y algo tuvimos en común, fuimos parte de los mejores promedios de nuestra promoción. Como verán ella ha crecido demasiado, antes era más pequeña que yo y ahora es mucho más alta de yo y hasta un poco más alta que mi mamá que mide 1.60 y mi hermanita ahora 1.64.

My beautiful chiquitica, my guacaipuro graduated, 5 years ago she was the only one in my family who had accompanied me to my graduation and we had something in common, we were part of the best averages of our class. As you can see she has grown too much, before she was smaller than me and now she is much taller than me and even a little taller than my mom who is 1.60 and my little sister who is now 1.64.

It's amazing how time flies. My little sister, who used to be the little girl who followed in my footsteps, is not so little anymore.
