Father's birthday cake

Today was my father’s birthday.

He is 77 now.

As you can see in the photo, we only put one candle on the cake, symbolically.

I wish him to live to 100 years old, so we can put candle in the form of numbers, like 80, 90, and 100 to mark each decade, otherwise, putting that many candles would make things complicated.

Anyway, the cake was very good, and it was coated in white chocolate.

Unfortunately, my mother is no longer with us to celebrate my father’s birthday together.

No matter how much we miss her, life goes on.

New members are expected to join the family in the future, as people get married and have children.

I believe she’s somewhere up there watching us….
