Tinh thần đá 2023 is a unique sporting event that attracted motorcyclists from all over, people passionate about speed and exploring tough terrains. The event took place on winding, treacherous mountain roads in Ha Giang, where the landscape is dominated by towering limestone mountains and rough trails, providing a real challenge for the riders.

Throughout the event, there was an atmosphere of tension and excitement as the racers navigated rocky paths, crossed rivers, and tackled steep slopes in the highlands. Riding a motorcycle through these winding roads, surrounded by the untamed beauty of nature, was truly an unforgettable experience. The roaring engines, the sound of tires cutting through gravel, created an intense and energetic atmosphere.

Particularly, from high up on the mountains, the racers appeared as tiny specks against the majestic backdrop of the mountains, creating an image that was both beautiful and challenging. In addition to my work at the event, Ha Giang also offered an amazing journey into nature. The winding mountain roads, terraced rice fields, and unique limestone peaks created a landscape that was both grand and captivating.

Every time I stopped at resting points along the way, I couldn’t take my eyes off the untouched beauty of the area. The lush valleys, mist-covered peaks, all created a tranquil and mystical atmosphere. The fresh, cool air of the highlands, along with the breathtaking scenery, made me feel like I was living in harmony with nature, far away from the bustle of the city.

One of the must-see places was the Dong Van Karst Plateau, where the fields of buckwheat flowers bloom in autumn. The vibrant pink, purple, and white flowers swaying in the breeze created a stunning natural canvas that captured my heart. The small winding roads leading to the villages of the H'mong, Tay, and other ethnic groups added to the charm of the journey.

Besides the nature and sports experiences, Ha Giang also charmed me with its rich culinary traditions, filled with flavors that reflect the region’s culture.

One dish I couldn’t miss was thắng cố, a specialty of the H'mong people. Made with horse meat and a mix of spices like cardamom and other local herbs, this dish had a deep, savory flavor and a spicy kick, perfect for warming up in the chilly highlands.

Cơm lam (bamboo rice) and roasted chicken were also dishes I couldn't pass up. The rice cooked in bamboo tubes had a unique fragrance, and when paired with roasted chicken marinated with special spices, it offered a taste of the region's flavors.

Additionally, Ha Giang steamed rolls were a must-try. These delicate, thin rice paper rolls filled with pork or mushrooms, paired with a special dipping sauce, were a delightful treat that I couldn’t forget. Ha Giang's dishes are simple yet full of character, embodying the warmth and sincerity of the highland people.
