Valentine's Day is an excellent excuse to knit! And that's why this time I'm joining the community contest Needlework Your Valentine!!! , and from my point of view what more romantic and friendly than a bunny.

The white rabbit from the Alice in Wonderland stories, this time has decided to ride on a swing with string fasteners and leaf and flower decorations.

The idea came to me while browsing the internet and I suddenly saw an ornament doll in a rearview mirror. However, it was just the doll with the swing with no other ornaments. It was then that I imagined tree branches and flowers entangled in that string.

It is a simple and easy idea. I started with a woven ball and from it I made the bunny. I wove the arms in such a way that the string that would be the swing would pass through them.

At the top I attached it to a piece of wood that resembles a branch and then I wove in green part of the foliage and leaves of the tree. Finally, to make it more colorful, I wove two flowers.

Once finished I realized a small detail. As my friend would do to place the swing in the rearview mirror of her car hahaha the piece of wood was going to prevent that correct fixation and irremediably the rabbit would fall to one side.

So now I am knitting another bunny, but this time I am using the piece of wood as a base, where the bunny is going to sit, this way the bunny will not fall sideways.

AHORA EN ESPAÑOL

Hola a todas las arañitas del planeta que se conectan en esta comunidad.

¡San Valentín es un excelente pretexto para tejer! Y por eso en esta oportunidad me sumo al concurso de la comunidad Needlework Your Valentine!! , y desde mi punto de vista que más romántico y amistoso que un conejo.

El conejo blanco de los cuentos de Alicia en el País de las maravillas, en esta oportunidad ha decidido montarse en un columpio con sujetadores de cordel y adornos de hojas y flores.

La idea se me ocurrió mientras ojeaba internet y de pronto vi un muñeco de adorno en un retrovisor. Sin embargo, era solo el muñeco con el columpio sin más adornos. Fue entonces que me imagine ramas de árboles y flores enredados en ese cordel.

Es una idea simple y sencilla. Partí de una bola tejida y a partir de ella hice al conejo. Los brazos los tejí de forma tal que a través de ellos pasara el cordel que sería el columpio.

En la parte superior lo uní a un trozo de madera que semeja una rama y luego tejí en verde parte del follaje y las hojas del árbol. Finalmente, para darle vistosidad tejí dos flores.

Una vez terminado me di cuenta de un pequeño detalle. Como haría mi amiga para colocar el columpio en el retrovisor de su carro jajaja el trozo de madera iba a impedir esa correcta fijación e irremediablemente el conejo caería hacia un lado.

Así que ahora estoy tejiendo otro conejo, pero esta vez el trozo de madera lo estoy utilizando como base, donde se va a sentar el conejo, de esta forma se evita que el muñeco caiga de lado.
