Hello, Hive Learners...

Talking about holidays seems endless: the idea, the excitement, and imagining about the list we have planned far away for a safe and comfortable holiday.

Just two days ago, I received a call from my friend in Bandung. In the past, I used to love going to Bandung either because I wanted to visit my friend, or just wander around the city.

Coincidentally, Bandung has been a city that I haven't revisited in the past few years, and it was during that call that my friend protested that I had forgotten about Bandung. And that's how we ended up talking about the possibility of my holiday going to .... Bandung!

Apart from being known as a culinary paradise, Bandung also has a lot of fascinating tourist attractions. So, it's no wonder that Bandung is always on the holiday list for many people ... including me.

At the end of last year, I backpacked to three cities: Yogya, Solo, and Semarang, then this year I included Bandung in my list. Actually, I don't only want to go to one city, yes, just Bandung for a while.

I'm planning to visit my friend again, and go back to explore Bandung in the city part or the mountain part (yes, the upper part of Bandung, such as Lembang and Cikole is very beautiful too!)

But, first, because I will take the train and the station is in the city. On the first day, I'll probably go around some museums in Bandung. Also, don't forget to go to the old town on Braga street and taste some food there.

After that, I'll stay overnight at a hotel or usually I'll stay at my friend's house (yes, of course because he kind of suggested I stay overnight), so the next day, I'll explore an area that's cooler and further away from the city. Like some of the places I've mentioned above. As for getting around, I'll probably just take public transport, because I don't really know the streets of Bandung by heart, and honestly, I'm afraid of getting lost. LoL.

So on the second day, I'll be looking for a fun, unique cafe, with good interior and food. Then I'll enjoy the fresh air of Bandung. With the backpacking model, of course I'm only doing this holiday alone, I mean from home I'm only alone, only after arriving at the destination city, I will meet up with my friends and release my nostalgia.

After a day in the cold area, at night, I will return to Jakarta using the same means of transport: train.

Isn't this enough? If you're asking for another list, of course there are many. Ha ha ha. So, what I will try to do in the meantime is to visit Bandung first. Hopefully I can get time off work and visit Bandung soon. I really miss that poetic city.

Thank you for reading my future travel holiday plans. See you!
