I always wanted to have a house near the water. Not necessarily near the sea or the river. Near a small pond or lake would also be very good. But by a strange quirk of fate, I got a house, the only reservoir near which is a basin for washing 😁

I also like to have a house near the water, I'd like to live very close to a small river. Now I have a river just 5 minutes from my home, but there is a street between me and the river where cars run all the day. I prefer to have it just few meter from me, so I could hear the sound of the water. ^_^
Wow, really nice! We have a creek running through our property, so I guess that's a close as we get to living near water. When we lived in Texas, it was right outside of our backdoor, a few feet off the patio. Looks like you have a lot of water there!
