Christmas Gift

It's Christmas again and as is the normal custom or tradition of the season, i needed to shop for gifts for my loved ones. For my little cousin whom I was so fond of, I pondered over a perfect gift for her, something extraordinary perhaps.
I remembered that I was one of the best Fine Art students in my Secondary School and I could still dust that skill whenever I needed to, that settled, I decided to craft a collection of handmade toys using cardboard.
Once I started, ideas flowed, my imagination was rekindled and at some point, I just had to make something more solid, something that would last for a long time. So I bought more supplies, wood, paints, brushes, ribbons, buttons, sewing kits, adhesives etc. I wanted something big for my little Belinda, I could already see her lovely eyes lighting up in wonder. With this as motivation, I set out to work, creating handmade toys that could give those toy companies a run for their money 😉... Anyways, the personal touch and the love that went into the creation was what really mattered.
I had them all nicely wrapped up and put away. Then on Christmas Morning, I presented my array of gifts to Belinda, the joy on her face as she unveiled each gift was all the confirmation I needed and when she flew into my arms with a big bear bug and little wet kisses, I knew I had made her "Christmas".
Thank you for the challenge.
Uhh! That is very kind of you, Belinda was really happy receiving those gifts
