TravelFeed Hive Contest: Places You Want to Revisit

TravelFeed is undergoing a few changes going into the year of 2024, with a revival of the Hive community and the pursuit of more engagement and growth that connects us fellow travellers together! Kickstarting this revival, we're launching a travel writing contest with a total of 30 HBD up for grabs.

This contest aims at bridging the wonders of travel with Hive, bringing out the nostalgia in our community as they recollect their favourite destinations. So, which places would you love to revisit? Tell us about those locations! Add information on the culture, traditions, the thrills and dangers! Even if your favourite destination is merely for shopping, let us know why!

And while we don't want to take too much of your time, here is a general list on the rules of the contest:

RULES

  1. You must post in the TravelFeed Hive community. If you are posting from TravelFeed.com with a linked Hive account, this is the default. 
  2. Submissions posted from the TravelFeed.com front-end are encouraged, but not required. TravelFeed never charges beneficiary fees for posting to Hive.
  3. You must write at least 500 words in English in your submission (bilingual posts and video submissions are accepted).
  4. Images used MUST be your own. Post AT LEAST two photographs from your own travels. No stock images.
  5. No plagiarism.
  6. You must submit your entry by no later than May 31st, 2024.
  7. Numerous submissions are accepted, providing you focus on different locations each post.
  8. You must comment under this announcement post with a link to your submission.

Submissions that break any of these rules may be subject to total disqualification, and potentially additional punishments in the event of plagiarism.

PRIZES

The top three submissions will receive the following rewards (additionally to post earnings):

First Place: 15 HBD.

Second Place: 10 HBD.

Third Place: 5 HBD.

We urge you to interact with other members of the community, so we'll also be considering engagement into the final scoring of the contest. That means we'd love to see you all commenting, upvoting, and sharing each other's adventures!

Wow I only made to to Barcelona on a Contiki tour bus back in the 1990s Looks like there is so much more to see and explore in Spain. I !LUV all that history.
