Children are our jewels- loh195
Greetings, lovely ladies of the hive community! I hope today is going well for everyone. Before I offer my thoughts on Children's Day in Nigeria, where I am the proud mother of two beautiful children, a three-year-old girl and a six-year-old boy, I'd want to start by congratulating all of the children in Venezuela and around the Hive Blockchain. Happy children's Day!!!
Children's Day is celebrated on May 27th every year in Nigeria, and it is a very unique day full with love and enthusiasm. I don't know about you, but I love seeing my children's happiness on this wonderful day. Their eyes appear to be filled with pure delight, and isn't that the primary goal of being a parent? Enjoying those priceless moments?
So, let me tell you how we usually celebrate Children's Day in our family. First and foremost, I make it a point to take my children to a delicious meal outside the house. There's something about dining out that makes everything feel more special, you know? Perhaps it's the change in surroundings or the fact that mommy won't be doing the dishes (wink wink).
And let us not forget about ice cream! My kids absolutely adore ice cream. I swear, if I let them, they'd probably eat their weight in it. So on Children's Day, I make sure to buy them whatever their tiny hearts desire. It's a once-in-a-year pleasure, right? The smiles on their cheeks as they delve into those colored scoops are wonderful!
Now, I know that some people who are a little wealthier do even more extravagant things. I've heard that others take their children swimming or to extravagant amusement parks. And, while that sounds fantastic, we do our best with what we have. I mean, it's not about how much money you spend, but about making the day special and memorable for your children.
Nevertheless, we do make an effort to get to some enjoyable locations. Places where the kids may run about, play, and just be kids—nothing too fancy, mind you. Perhaps a small fair, if there's one in town, or a neighborhood park with a great playground. What matters is that we're spending time together, enjoying ourselves, and making enduring memories.
I wonder sometimes if my children truly get the purpose of our celebrations. Do they realize that they are the focus of today? about realizing how valuable and significant they are? Even though they're still having trouble putting it into words, I like to think they do. I can tell they are excited about this day because of the way their eyes shine and how they jiggle around.
And, let's be honest, it's special not just for children, but also for us as parents! It's a day when we can forget about the stress and responsibilities of adulthood and simply enjoy ourselves with our children. There will be no consideration of work, bills, or other adult issues. Just pure joy and meaningful time with our children.
So, to all the mommies in the hive community, I hope you and your little ones have a wonderful Children's Day this year. Whether you go on major adventures or keep it simple with ice cream and cuddles, remember that the most important thing is the love and attention you give your children. That's what they'll remember in years to come: not the expensive gifts or outings, but the time spent together, laughing and sharing memories.
Children are our pride and joy, jewels indeed. Your celebration with your kids is sweet and simple. I like it
Greetings my friend, I think exactly like you, our children are our most beautiful gifts, and we would be able to give them everything if we could, but I think they get excited about anything they like to do, or that is special to them, they just want to have fun . Thanks for participating, hugs and blessings.
I think your children will understand the Spirit of Children's day the moment they have their own children. My home province in Canada finally recognize children and parents and declared one day a year as 'Family Day!'

I used to think that Children's Day is celebrated globally in a particular date😂.
Outside food is sweeter too😂
Taking kids out for fun isn't about how much one spends on them but the joy, excitement and feelings they derive when you make the day fun for them. It will always be a memorable day to them always and one they would always talk about every time. Children love being taken care of us in such ways and they are always at peace when they grant their heart desires.
It is great to have a children's day, I don't think we have that in the UK.
Popped in from dreemport tonight #dreemerforlife
Children are special gift from God and they deserve to be celebrated. It's good you always take your kids out to celebrate them. They deserve it.
Besides, I too was surprised seeing happy children's day 😀 I also used to think that it's been celebrated worldwide 😂
