RE: Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun: round 213

In the weekend that is just coming to an end (tomorrow again at work) I visited some amazing places in Romania, namely the city of Anina in Caraș-Severin county.

Anina is a former mining town, today all the coal mines here are closed.

But I didn't come here for the coal mines, but to take a train ride on the oldest mountain railway in Romania.
And the train is a special one because it is over 100 years old, the wagon we traveled in was 115 years old.

The picture was taken by me yesterday (04.06.2024) from the last carriage of the train, in the picture you can see how the train crosses one of the 10 viaducts.

I will also write a few posts from my experiences in this part of Romania.

I always participate with pleasure, and yes, I want to share the places I visit with as many people as possible.
