SATURDAY, MY FAVORITE DAY OF THE WEEK

Hi Everyone,

It's feel great to join this amazing contest for this week with wonderful prompt to take and today I will be making my first entry in to this amazing community and contest with the prompt "Favorite Day".

It's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog today and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day.

Just like the question I'm choosing for this week implies, I want to believe that we all have that favorite day of the week based on some reasons known to us.

When someone asked me my favorite day of the week, I look at them like did you need to ask, it's Saturday without a doubt and when they asked me why, I took my time to explain to them how much I love Saturday.

It was always nice waking up so early every Saturday morning and when I realized that it was Saturday, I was always so delighted. People like Saturday because they don't need to wake up early but for me, waking up early to go to field and play an early morning football five aside game is what makes me love Saturday because football is my favorite sport and being able to demonstrate the love I have for this game is a joy to behold and also it's another means of exercising my body to keep myself fit since I always love to be sharp and be in great shape.

No doubt, Saturday is my favorite day because of football. After a full week of work, I always have Saturday to workout and relax and then play with my baby. Saturday is the day I enjoyed the most, I don't like outing apart from going to field to play football and enjoy a football debate with my friends at the field of play.

When ever I'm around, my baby always choose me over his mom and anytime his mom is busy cleaning the house and cooking for the family, me and my baby will be having dad and son time and since my wife know nothing about football, I always watched the match reshow with my baby.

Apart from football there are so many reasons I love Saturday which is my favorite day of the week. I love going to an invited occasion because Saturday is for "OWANBE" like we used to called it. Owanbe mean an extravagant party in Nigerian style. It may be an Owanbe for celebration of life, baby naming, wedding, or even a funeral.

Anytime I'm fortune to be invited to any kind of party mentioned above, I don't want to missed out because it's time of celebrating something meaningful in life and so I love to celebrate others because they are the one that will also celebrate with me when I have any occasion.

And lastly, I have mentioned earlier that another reason why Saturday is my favorite day of the week is because it's for "OWANBE" (different kind of parties) and one thing I love about Saturday and reason I don't want to missed out on Owanbe is because of those delicious jollof rice especially when those that are one of the best cook. I can eat as many place of party jollof rice based on my appetite.

Saturday is fun and it's a day in which different amazing things happen and I can't just stop loving the day.
