My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 208 - Edge-of-Lava Reflections - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, March 1, 2025

Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

For my entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 208, I'd like to share a batch of photos that almost didn't happen. Just as the sun was going down over the horizon, I jumped up in alarm because I remembered that today was my last day to enter the Reflection Hunters Contest, and I had no photos taken for it yet. The last bit of sun was still visible up on the lava field next to the Flow House, so with my trusty portable mirror and my phone in hand, I trekked out onto the lava in hunt for some great reflection photos.

These shots show the last sunlight of the day, right on the edge between jungle and lava, illuminating a large Albizia tree in the first four shots, and catching the last rays of sun on the opposite horizon in the last two, reflected in my portable mirror, that is sitting on a flat piece of lava. I hope that you appreciate them as much as I did when I took time! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
