Everyone knows Mr. Simon as the owner and director of his gas factory but, very close associates know his wife, who takes final decisions, is the real owner. This is because it was her father's wealth that was used in establishing the firm.

Sometimes being in a situation as Mr Simon can be exhausting because it feels like your hands are tied from making decisions yourself.
