Remember September: The day I bought my Laptop.

As soon as 2023 started for me, I really feel that this year is not for me. It's only January that I've been through so many struggles in life. And this September, I noticed that time and days are running very fast, I feel like I'm chasing success. What good thing happened to me this past September?

Ahh, September 2021.This is the month where I received too much grace from Lord.

It was September when I bought my very first laptop.

It was pandemic days and we still have online classes at our university. Before I bought my laptop, I only used the tablet that the local government gave to my son who is also studying in elementary school. Those times were very difficult because I didn't know how to manage all the gadgets we had at home. But thanks to God, and thanks also to the platforms and the people who helped me so that I could buy the basic requirement to pass college my life.

September 4, 2021, I decided to buy a second-hand laptop from a trusted online shop on Facebook. Since my partner is an IT professional, he helped me decide what is the best laptop that I can get right there in the shop. Actually, I had a hard time getting his approval to buy a secondhand laptop because he wanted to buy me a new one instead. I didn't agree because I wanted the gadget I would invest in to come from my own money first. Later on, he understood and agreed to let me buy a secondhand laptop from that online shop. Gladly, the seller was very honest to talk to and he also set expectations for the laptop. At the end, we both agree that I will get this HP Pavilion G Series laptop. Not bad for a student who will only use MS applications and browsers. Luckily I got it for only Php 8,999. The package already includes a PC camera, mouse and mouse pad, and laptop bag. When the laptop was sent to me, I was very happy. And lastly, I won't have a hard time studying and at the same time, I can enjoy blogging more.

This is just one of the blessings that I received in the year 2021. Actually, I did not expect that in this year, I will be able to get many things, improve my knowledge and accumulate earnings so much. I am grateful to the people who helped me to get these things especially this laptop. To my virtual friends who are also here at Hive and have been with me on other blogging platforms, you are just a few of those who have witnessed some of the stories of my life, thank you for your continued support. Thank you because if not for the support, for sure I will not be able to stay in the platforms that totally helps us financially. I am also thankful to my partner who helped me to upgrade my laptop worth less than only $200. Since he is an IT, he also fixed the software and hardware so that I could use the laptop better. Fortunately, up to now my equipment is working smoothly. I can consider it as the best investment for me because I have made a lot of money from using it. Now, I'm in the last year of my college life and I am thinking about to put this laptop to rest. For me, I just want to put it away or maybe, let my son use it if my laptop can still handle it.

I realized how lucky I am to have this equipment. While I utilize this, I always think of the contents and blogs that this laptop typed and made. This has been a witness to my rants in life, and even to my success stories. And now, it motivates me even more to write blogs. It's like its telling me, "as long as you can use me properly, don't give up"....
