I finally discovered the name I consider the most suitable for rebrand of Leofinance. I arrived at this result after a lot of trials, but am glad that eventually, we are here with the a "deserving name."

Why Rebrand?

Rebrand Defined:- oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com defined rebrand as; something/yourself to change the image of a company or an organization or one of its products or services, for example by changing its name or by advertising it in a different way
Example: In the 1990s the Labour Party rebranded itself as New Labour.

From the example given above, you can see that the key word; "Labour" is consistent. It's certainly not by chance. It is to show that they are still same people, committed to same goals but have reviewed and repositioned selves to deliver better services.

The Name I Consider Most Suitable For The Rebrand

"Leoversa"

I coined this word from two words! Leo and Versatile. (Leo + versa)

Leo - This is a Latin word for Lion.
Versa -The word Versa was derived from the English adjective; Versatile. which means; Vast.

Versatile defined:- able to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities.

Therefore, when the two words comes together in "LEOVERSA" it will mean a strong platform that is welcoming to everyone and accommodates a very wide range of topics, even as it retains all the qualities a Lion commands.

Just like the leadership of Leofinance had envisaged, my intention as a "craftsman" is to create a name for the community, that is all encompassing and all welcoming. Here, users will be encouraged to share their stories, experiences, insights, cutting accross all professions, subject matters, religion, and race. So long as the author maintains quality in his writing, the community will curate.
"LEOVERSA" aligns perfectly with the goals of @Leofinance leadership going into the rebrand.

A look at a section of the post announcing the Rebrand as captured below, you will see that it may be suggesting that the community token will still be referred to as @Leo.
Therefore, I think it would be much better if we only remove finance from the current name (Leo + ~Finance~ ), since the lion is our logo and also forms part of our name. Then replace the finance in this order; Leo + Versa.

And then, LeoFinance as a community for crypto and finance will continue to exist as the perfect place to share content about all the money-related topics you love writing about, we will still encourage and empower users to share content that is finance related, and you will still earn $LEO$0.084 by posting in the LeoFinance community or tagging your posts 'leofinance'. Moreso, Since I saw the post announcing the rebrand, the question I have always asked myself is; why rebrand?
This is the the reason I write this way, because, the reason for this rebrand will give you an insight to what you need to look out for.
Let's look at these questions;

• Is the community name;"Leofinance" bad?
• Have any user complained about the name?
• Is the name affecting the brand negatively?

The answer to all these questions is no. Instead, Leofinance have only shown capacity and distinguished itself from the rest, by
showing strength and focus.
Therefore, we are only supposed to look at removing the word ~finance~ which is the brain behind the niche. Then, replace it with another word like Versa and continue building upon our existing strength, creating a sense of familiarity and gradually move into a more inclusive community, hopefully; "Leoversa."

Leofinance only wants to broaden it's horizons to accommodate all forms of content, from all aspects of life, we should replace the word finance with Versa just as I demonstrated below.

Reasons I Think "Leo" Be Retained By Choosing A Name Like "LEOVERSA"

In respect to the this ongoing rebrand, I have submitted three different proposals (First, Second and Third. This is actually the forth of it's kind, In all these my publications, I have strongly opined that the "Leo brand" is maintained.
Below are some of the advantages the "Leo" brand will offer the Leo ecosystem unannounced.

1. If the "Leo brand" is retained, it will mean continuity.
2. People that have been used to Leofinance will find it very easy to identify with a name like "LEOVERSA".
3. Because of the "Lion" engraved in the Name and Logo of Leofinance, the transaction to "LEOVERSA" will smooth and seamless with all of its qualities, excluding it's niche.
4. It will help old and new users to trust the community.
5. The leadership qualities of the "Lion" (Courage, protection and leadership) are actually the right qualities the leadership of Leofinance need now it wants to broaden it's catchment areas. It aligns perfectly with her mission and values.

Conclusion

The question I asked and answered above (Why the rebrand?) is the deal breaker. It is the reason I came up with a name as suiting as "Leoversa".
It is simple and concised, no ambiguity or confusions.

It's true @Leofinance team in their graciousness gave us a free hand go all out and get the name. But I want to limit myself to the reason(s) for the rebrand, Else I go astray.

I wish to use this opportunity to thank the Hive and Leofinance leadership for this opportunity. I feel like I get better by every new post I make on this, I love it and owe it to you all.
I am sure all the money and time you are investing in this rebrand will be worth it at the end.
