Never Draw Un-due Attention

I really can't remember what I was doing when this statement cross my mind and I had to think about it for a while, It is really a wise statement that go a long way in our world especially our generation that like to live a fake or expensive lifestyle without having anything or a solid stand.

There is this yoruba adage that says Obi to ba fara pamo lo ma ngbo ( A kolanut fruit that can hid itself, will surely grow to maturity), we always failed and tend to draw attention to ourself anytime we achievement things especially small wins which isn't good because we really don't know who is watching us

I just had to remember some scenario that happens to way back, I had this guy back then who was into some shaddy things which are illegal and as a student he like this lifestyle that is beyond his financial status since the clique he walk with spend and club the way they like, I really can't blame him though, show me your friend and I will tell you who you are, there was a time he got some certain amount of money which he suppose to use wisely or at least invest in himself but it is what it is

The expensive lifestyle got to him and he couldn't account what he actually spend the money on and along the line, he was back to square 1 and his clique dumped him because he couldn't meet up with their lifestyle anymore, he got destroyed because he doesn't know what he is doing (in the right way), no self control at all. This is really common in this generation, we love drawing some attention that we shouldn't be drawing because we cant keep a low profile, we should always be wise in all things and act moderately
